This service is a scam
This service is a scam. First they don’t allow min. bids so a person can literally bid $1.00 on a very expensive piece and buy it for that. Next they charge minimum $100 for their service. Given the minimum bids allowed. It very hard to make any money. And with what little leftover that is mine, never deposited into my account. So ya. It’s a total SCAM for sellers

The seller is not obilgated to offer a second pickup date so if you can't make the one & only date, you have lost your money. What a awful way to treat a customer! Life happens and it's sometimes the case when you can't make the pickup date. The refund policy is such that anything under $30 isn't accounted for. Terrible policy. I deleted my account.

As seller BEWARE 30% commission
As seller: BEWARE they dont tell you up front that they will take 30% of your earnings from the auction. It is buried at in the very last page of a 20 page agreement. To find this info you have to go to the settings icon in the right corner of your seller account, then scroll all the way down to agreement, then scroll down to the very end of the document (20ish pages) They do not disclose this to you as a seller. This is unethical. Do not use them as a selling platform. They take 15% from the buyers and 30% of your total sales. I can see 10 to 15% but a third of your sales is just ridiculous.

Never had any issues
I have purchased numerous items from a dozen different Maxsold auctions. Whether they were run by the individual seller or by Maxsold, all the sales were as represented, workers were polite and helpful and pick-up was easy. Yes, there is a stiff buyer's premium, which is uncommon in certain areas of the country but perfectly normal here. If you read the auction terms, there will be no surprises.
