I had a very good and useful experience…
I had a very good and useful experience during my visit to Medicana Ataşehir, the follow ups and also during my all tests especially during MRI contrast, which I had not so good experiences during my previous CT scan in my home country. I had consulted Dr. Babek Tabandeh, very friendly and knowledgeable Doctor which I truly appreciate. He provided all necessary information and advices which I find useful for my recovery. Moreover, during our visits, we met and got accompanied by a very good and kind Translator; Ms. Mayan, she helped us through the visit and provided correct translation, which I truly appreciate.

So much to say about this place
So much to say about this place, the staff, the drs and how you are treated. The first person I met was Heda and she put me at ease as soon as I got there. My surgeon was dr Ali Kaan who is always amazing and caring, he really tries to make you feel as comfortable and cared for as much as he can, he really strives to give you exactly what you ask for. My dentist was dr IIhan Metin who was also very caring and amazing, he’s a perfectionist and very busy so if you get him as your dentist just bare with him cause the end result is worth it. He is a very special man so look after him if you get him as a dentist. The translators are so good, Fatma has kept in contact after I got back to NZ and is always answering my questions. Angelica, Zaid and Faysal were very caring and always checked in on me and tried their best to accompany whatever I asked. The nurses on floor 10 are absolutely amazing. The only thing I will add is that they are very busy and sometimes things don’t go according to plan or the timeline but somehow they make it work and for everything in. I would 100 percent go back because I trust them.

Top Notch English Translation Services and a Dr. who listens
Upon my arrival, Medicana immediately provided a translator, without my asking for one, and without any additional cost. He arrived in under 10 minutes. My translator, Saeed Khater, was incredibly helpful and kind, explaining everything. First, his English was impeccable. In addition to translating, he helped me to organize each of the steps that I needed to take and liaised with various care providers for me. I think I would have been a bit lost without him today. He is a shining star. I met with Dr. Senol, who was also efficient and helpful. He did not waste my time and simply helped me with what I needed. He asked the necessary questions and shared his knowledge. He listened to me and let me be in charge of my medical choices. I wish that I didn't have to write this but when a male Dr. is a good listener in Turkey it stands out to me. (FYI my past negative experiences were not at Medicana.) I would recommend Dr. Senol and will likely see him again.
