Was a customer for 16 years...no more sadly

I have been a customer for several years and have purchased over 200 midi files from Hit Trax. Their quality was superb. My last two orders were for their midi packs 50 files for €70 the last of which was placed in February of 2025 (not 2010). I have three credits left and decided to order another pack. Their pricing is now astronomical. €88 for 15 tracks, €190 for 45 tracks. What???? Over 250% increase in prices? I'm gone.

Thank you for your support over the last 16 years and for your acknowledgement of the quality of our MIDI files. We genuinely appreciate long-term customers such as yourself and are pleased that our products consistently met your expectations over many years and more than 200 purchases. However, this review appears to focus entirely on disappointment regarding current pricing, rather than the quality of any recently purchased product or service experience. In fact, no new purchase was made. As I mentioned in my reply to your email this morning, we can no longer maintain 2010-level pricing and operating costs in 2026. Our producers have been incredibly accommodating and generous over the years, but we can no longer continue with remuneration that, in my view, falls below the professional standard and value they deserve. No one wants to feel underpaid, or feel they must stay silent and accept less than their worth simply to keep their job. That is the reality businesses and creative professionals are facing today. Hit Trax respects our customers and equally, the immensely gifted creators that give our customers the high quality MIDI Files that you kindly acknowledge.

I was unable to contact them and a problem occurred, but they handled it well and it was resolved.

I’ve been a repeat customer of HitTrax for several years, and until 2024, everything went smoothly. However, in 2025/10/03, I placed a custom MIDI orders and paid a total of $138.54 upfront. Neither order was delivered, and despite multiple follow-up messages, I received no response. The website is still active and selling existing MIDI packs, but custom orders seem to be ignored. It’s possible the business is facing staffing or operational issues, but failing to deliver paid work without any communication is unacceptable. I trusted this service and would gladly continue using it if they resumed proper operations. I request a refund or delivery of the pending work, and an explanation for the silence. Addendum to response: Thank you for your quick response, and I understand the reason. Please proceed as suggested. I'm really glad I was able to get in touch with you. Once the data has been delivered and confirmed, I will revise the rating upward, so thank you in advance. ★★★★★ Added on 11/09/2025: I was able to contact you through, and you produced and delivered the data as quickly as possible. I have checked the data, and as always, the work is of extremely high quality, so I am very satisfied. I have also changed my rating to the highest possible. I will likely request your services again, so thank you in advance.

Hello Gyo. (copy of email sent to you) Apology for late response. I am following up from your trust pilot correspondence. Firstly, please accept my apology. Your emails were forwarded to the spam folder. We had a bot spamming us using a fake name ‘’Gyo’ and the filter automatically sent your friendly emails to the spam folder. I have corrected this so it doesn’t repeat. It was only because of the alert that I realised there was a problem. Although we were unable to find the confirmation email that payment was made, I found the payment was made and followed up today with the producer. If you still wish to go ahead, I will put the order at the top of the job list and it will be ready by Tuesday/Weds next week given it’s a longer than normal song. Is this okay? Professional Producers and Highly-Accurate MIDIS

I recently decided to try out Hit Trax after being disappointed with what has been happening with Supreme Midi. Despite never commissioning a custom midi with them before, I was impressed by the quality of offerings on their site, and tasked them with a 9 minute rock suite. It only took them 10 days to deliver a MIDI and MP3 mix. The MIDI is highly-accurate and the price was very fair for the quality I received. To clarify for others, custom midis do indeed have vocal/harmony parts accounted for, as I found it a bit unclear on the website when ordering. Will be ordering from them again soon - highly recommend!
