This is a nice quality journal and accompanying Check-In Notepad. The paper is particularly nice to write, very smooth and an easy on the eye colour. It's not cheap, and doesn't feel it. Exactly what you want from a premium product. As for the journaling, the actual reason for having it, it is a nice well guided "manual". You do the thinking, you create your own answers, but the prompts along the way create a structure and ensure you consider topics you might easily ignore in an unstructured plain notebook. I really like it, and will simply skip or return to a topic later if I'm not ready to deal with something. I can easily imagine coming back and buying another copy a year from now just to explore how my thinking on the same topics has changed in the interval. I'm looking forward especially to getting into the "unguided" back half of the journal, and seeing where my mind will take me. Wriiten meditation essentially. This feels like one of the most exciting things I've done in years. At this point the price is irrelevant, the potential of The Mind Journal far outweighs any brief pain in paying for it. Get yourself a nice pen too, the paper deserves it.

Got it to start a guided journaling and it seemed a good entry point. Quality is nice, feels good, the pages are nice and thick. Some things i dont like: "what i am grateful for today" on every checkin: I think it leads more to toxic positivity. It always feels like negative feelings are invalid, because I should be grateful for e.g. "sunshine". I usually cross it out and replace it with "annoyed"/"proud"/"longing". to actually work with feelings then hiding them behind being grateful. Like their example "The way exercise makes you feel afterwards." Instead of being grateful for that, i am proud that i did the exercise and made it through it. Or being annoyed by work or colleges. sometimes it's important to vent rather than force yourself to be grateful The guided pages should last for 30 days, which you can do daily or maybe weekly, depeninding on your preferences. They cover half the journal, the rest is free writing. For the price of 42€ it is way too overpriced for the content provided. I think it is a nice entry point tos tart journaling, but worth maybe 25 over all, it feels like a cashgrab to be honest

I was just about to buy this journal for my nephew who's about to turn 21. But then I went into the FAQ section and I quote: "It's true that our journals were originally designed for individuals who identify as male (you can read our founder's story below). However, we believe journaling is a powerful tool for everyone. Except for one question (which can be easily reworded), the writing program inside MindJournal is gender-neutral, making it accessible to anyone. We have a growing community of women and non-binary people who are feeling the benefits of MindJournal'' As a gay - but still biological adult male - man I'm really disappointed. You make a MENS journal in a culture that tells men need to take care of their mental and emotional health etc.only to undermine that by saying women and ''non-binary'' (not a real thing btw) can use it. Sure you can't stop people from using it but to be captured by this ideology and acknowledge it's delusions is insulting to actual men. I'm sure the journal itself is great but I'm so sick of the pervasive LGBT (whatever it is, I don't care) agenda that at some point you have to stop accommodating it. Off to buy a different journal.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
