Muddy Puddles uses Whistl for their distribution. That’s not clear on their website. They seem to want to hide it from their customers. Whistl has a "Super Hub" at Astley Business Park which has turned into a daily nightmare for local Tyldesley and Astley residents. The massive 24/7 warehouse operation has choked narrow local roads with heavy goods vehicles, filling the suburban air with diesel pollution and shattering nighttime peace with constant air brakes and reversing bleepers. While the community bears the brunt of this heavy industrial disruption, Muddy Puddles continues to use Whistl for its children's outdoor clothing distribution. They’re shameless in their continued use of Whislt, especially when the brand markets itself on eco-friendly values and ethics. They know about the disruption being caused by Whistl, yet continue to partner with them. It’s a massive breach of trust for their shoppers. I’ve tried telephoning Muddy Puddles but they’re not answering the phone and not replying to emails. BEWARE - Muddy Puddles removes reviews - - Removal attempt 1 Like with others, Muddy Puddles has reported my previous reviews. They first queried my identity and authenticity of my experience. Trust Pilot reviewed documentation which included ID, emails and call recordings. Trust Pilot checked this documentation and verified my review was authentic. - Removal attempt 2 This didn’t stop Muddy Puddles, who then reported my review again. They have claimed “defamation”. I provided evidence to Trust Pilot and they determined that it's not defamatory. Therefore, they put my review back online. Muddy Puddles posted a public reply to my review stating “The Astley Business Park site is a Whistl mail and parcel hub and is not part of either the Royal Mail or DPD network”. I responded by updating my review with a social media handle showing a video of a Royal Mail vehicle making excessive noise at the Whistl Astley warehouse site. Noise so excessive it’s walking up children trying to sleep in their beds. - Removal attempt 3 That didn’t stop Muddy Puddle through, this time they “flagged for containing harmful or illegal content”. Trust Pilot disagreed and allowed my review to remain online. I am disappointed, this is awful practice for a company that should welcome genuine feedback. Muddy Piddles must be furious. - Removal attempt 4 They finally tried reporting it for “advertising or promotional content”. Unfortunately I had specifically mentioned a social media handle thats linked to residents living next to the Astley warehouse. At the request of Trust Pilot, I have now removed that social media handle from my review and re-published it back. It does make me wonder, how many low-star reviews has this company had removed in the past? They seem livid about them. My request is simple. I politely ask Muddy Puddles to stop using Whistl whilst they are waking up children every night. News reports show residents in Astley have only slept up to 4 hours a night since Whistl moved into the new “Cruise Liner” sized warehouse that’s positioned right next to houses and a primary school. Muddy Puddles is aware of the shocking issues in Astley and yet continues their business partnership with the distribution company. Muddy Puddle claims to put “people and environment first” but doesn’t actually mean this statement. They’ve gone silent on the topic and done nothing except distance themselves from taking any meaningful responsibility. - reply to Muddy Puddles public reply One of your business partners has been proven to be waking up children from their sleep. Whistl is causing up to 207 recorded incidents of excessive noise that’s louder than the maximum noises stated in planning applications. An independent acoustic report has been published showing this. You have chosen to continue working with this unethical partner, even after seeing the evidence. If you found out your wellies was being made by a supplier using child-labour, but the supplier was doing it at a different factory, would you “hope a resolution can be found for everyone affected” and then carry on working with the same supplier? It is my opinion, based on your tone deaf response, that you certainly would.

I have experienced poor customer service. Muddy Puddles are no longer answering their phones because customers have found out they’re using Whistl for their fulfilment. Whistl has a giant facility, taller than some cruise ships, directly next to homes and a primary school in Astley. Instead of listening to their customers, and making the ethical choice to help stop children from being woken up, they are ignoring customers with genuine concerns. Please stop using Whistl. Please remove your B Corp certification - you clearly no longer qualify for one and don’t deserve it. ** UPDATE Thank you for your reply, but I think you’ve missed the point. Customers are unhappy that you’ve not been transparent and upfront with your business connection to Whistl. You advertise you’re ethical, you believe in doing the right thing and your focus is on children and their wellbeing. You’re earned B Corp! Unfortunately the Little Mudders in Astley are not even getting a good nights sleep. For this reason, you’ve lost my support unfortunately. My family has always supported you (and absolutely loved your quality and designs) but that’s all come to an end. I cannot buy from a business linked to Whistl - supporting them, on any level, is not right. You shouldn’t be B Corp certified anymore now you’re aware your supply chain isn’t ethical. Your distribution partner is destroying the lives of the residents of Astely. Stop working with Whistl.

Disgraceful customer service. Unhelpful

The Whistl logistics "Super Hub" at Astley Business Park has turned into a daily nightmare for local Tyldesley and Astley residents. The massive 24/7 warehouse operation has choked narrow local roads with heavy goods vehicles, filling the suburban air with diesel pollution and shattering nighttime peace with constant air brakes and reversing bleepers. While the community bears the brunt of this heavy industrial disruption, Muddy Puddles continues to use Whistl for its children's outdoor clothing distribution.Shockingly, their use of Whislt is disgraceful, especially when the brand markets itself on eco-friendly values and ethics. They know about the disruption being caused by Whistl, yet continue to partner with them. It’s a massive breach of trust for their shoppers. Update 1: I’ve tried telephoning Muddy Puddles but they’re not answering the phone and not replying to emails. Update 2: Like with others, Muddy Puddles initially reported my review. Trust Pilot review documentation I provided them. Muddy Puddles then reported my review again, this time for defamation. I provided evidence to Trust Pilot and they determined that it's not defamatory. Therefore, they put my review back online (again). Awful practice for a company that should welcome genuine feedback. How many low-star reviews has this company had removed in the last? Update 3: My reply back to Muddy Puddles copy and paste response. Your response is unacceptable and dishonest. You cannot be an ethical company and work with Whistl - both things can’t exist at the same time. You are dishonest when you say Royal Mail doesn’t use the Astley “hub” to transport packages. Visit @[redacted] on Instagram/Tiktok and watch a post from 6 days ago (11th Aug) of a Royal Mail HGV reversing into the Whistl “cruise liner” warehouse with its loud alarms bellowing for 90 seconds. BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEP! Whistl has packages travel through the Ashley Warehouse “super hub” day and night. Whistl has today released as statement saying companies like Muddy Puddles have “no responsibility or involvement … in the planning, development or management of the depot.” However, they are involved if their distribution partner is keeping children and local residents awake at night! If you partner with Whistl, you’re part of the issue. Update 4: Whistl confirmed a returned item travelling from a northern postcode from Royal Mail, it is taken by the courier (remember the BEEP BEEP BEEP from the Royal Mail HGV) to their nearest Whistl hub, YOU KNOW, the one in Astley! Whistl then transfer it onto another Whistl HGV (sometimes via another south hub for fun) then on to the Devon warehouse that you use. Update 5: Wow, didn’t expect to need to post another update, but today Muddy Puddles reported by review again (third time now). This time it got “flagged for containing harmful or illegal content”. Trust Pilot investigators looked into this, and determined that it doesn’t contain harmful or illegal content. Therefore, they put my review back online (again). If you’re using Whistl (even if it’s for one parcel or a million) you have lost my respect and my custom. 🫡 Continuing to support an unethical company proves your unethical too. “Guilty by association” I believe is the saying. Until you stop using Whistl, you’re part of the problem. Stop using Whistl and this headache will go away. Stop using Whistl and I’ll happily change my review. I’m an actual customer, who actually loves your products. However, I cannot support a company using Whistl.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
