DON'T USE THIS ONE

DON'T USE THIS ONE! The most user unfriendly app we have ever used. No real support, images will not stay saved, there is NO WAY to print and see the layout before publish. It's just NOT good.: ) Paid for 2 years $160, wish I could get my money back and use something else.

Wonderful Family Keepsake!

We really enjoyed the experience with My Life in a Book! It was such a special keepsake to create. We loved the flexibility of answering the questions on our own time, which made the process easy and stress-free. The finished book turned out beautifully, and having our pictures alongside the stories made it even more meaningful. We’re so happy with the final product and highly recommend it to anyone looking to preserve their memories!

I DO NOT recommend!

The website is horrible. I'm extremely web savvy and it's got glitches, crazy limitations and no sound instructions. Had to pay for two years because time ran out and there's no support.

Disappointing programming by your creators

I simply like to have two spaces at the end of a sentence. Your program wouldn’t accept it. I have recently learned that the new standard for writing and printing is to have one space after a period. Still, I think it looks better and reads better to have two spaces. When you ask, “what are some admirable traits of your father?” and there are several different ones to describe, I like each one to be its own paragraph. I like a space after each paragraph. To have an entire essay run together in one blob of text without paragraphs being separated as different topics, is a mess. Absolutely terrible. So I got my ideas from “My Life in a Book,” which were helpful and stimulating. My 127-page story was published into 14 books by another publisher.

The program was easy to work and results in a high quality keepsake for our grandchildren

The program was easy to work to my own way. Your weekly questions are a great start but I elected to write almost all my own questions for documenting our journey in life. We ordered enough copies for our 10 Grandchildren and they'll know much more about us and included a lot of pictures for them. Only constructive comment I'd make is wish the MyAnswers page that shows the title questions for each story in the order we choose would be included in beginning of the print of a book to give the reader the question and page number. Thank you for a quality book and program to meet our needs
