I wish my dog Gizmo was alive to take…
I cannot thank the Petsies team enough for my custom plush! They did a fantastic job recreating my baby. The attention to detail—especially with the unique markings—was spot . The communication throughout the entire design process was wonderful, and the plush itself is incredibly soft and well-made. It's such a comforting keepsake to have." The quality is good
The quality is good, and size is right, but the colors are way off. My cat had gray and black striping with a little brown here and there, but the one I got has a lot of black and brown striping, no gray at all. The face, especially, looks nothing like my cat. It sucks because this is a gift for my nephew, but it looks nothing like his cat. I definitely wouldn't order from this company again and don't recommend it. I thought, for the money I spent, it would look better. Maybe it would have been better if our pet was only one or two colors. I was so excited to give it to my nephew, but really don't even want to. I'm so disappointed.

Beautiful Marketing, Disappointing Reality
I was incredibly disappointed with my experience with Petsies. I ordered multiple custom products of my beloved cat who passed away, Zakk, based on the quality shown in Petsies' advertising and examples on their website. Unfortunately, the finished products did not closely resemble my cat. One plush had obvious inaccuracies, and the figurine had several issues, including facial features and markings that were noticeably different from the reference photos I provided. When I contacted customer service, I explained my concerns in detail and provided side-by-side comparisons. Rather than addressing the specific issues, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed as a "difference of design opinion." What was most frustrating was that Petsies' refund policy states that figurines are non-refundable unless there is a design defect. I believed the issues I identified qualified as design defects, but that point was never meaningfully addressed. Instead, I was simply told the company stood by its work and was offered a free printed product instead of a refund. I understand that custom artwork involves some artistic interpretation, and I never expected an exact clone. However, I did expect a reasonable resemblance based on the many high-quality reference photos I submitted and the examples Petsies advertises. That expectation was not met. If you're considering Petsies, be aware that if you're unhappy with the final product, you may have very limited options for resolving the issue.
