90 days into using the NordicTrack X24…

90 days into using the NordicTrack X24 treadmill. So far: 1) touchscreen failed at 45 days - working with customer service ridiculous - made me take videos of me punching the screen to confirm touch screen didn't work. Sent me a board not a new screen - even though it was clear the screen not the issue. Then had to wait on a new screen. 2) HR telemetry failed at 80 days - customer service made me send pictures of faulty capture off of screen (their live session for trouble shooting doesn't work so you end up having to email them stills/videos - ridiculous). After all that informed it was a known issue and not fix. 3) 1 day later lost all my custom built programs. I can find the workouts on iFit mobile app but not on tread (and in their infinite wisdom, because my tread has a screen, I can't use my phone to control machine - a super complicated feature apparently). The have however built a useless AI agent that is supposed to trouble shoot issues - that agent told me there was likely a syncing issue - no kidding. Had no information on how to sync but instead sent me to the software team - apparently their agent is quite at the AGI level yet as it wasn't even smart enough to know the software team was not around on the weekend (discovered that when transferred). 4) 1 day later none of the prebuilt iFit workouts would load - just constant error message. 5) Today turned on the machine and a window came up "loading personal dashboard experience" - in the middle of that screen went black. Now now screed function or manual function of any kind - tread is a brick. At this point I have a $3500, 400# piece of yard art - this product is atrocious and the customer support services are useless. If I had anyway get my money back I would. Do not buy this.

Do Not Buy!

Do not buy. They will not stand behind what they sell! I bought a NordicTrack commercial-grade treadmill a few years ago (3) because I wanted something that would last. That was the whole point of paying more. It was set up in my home and has never been moved since. Original cord, no modifications, and honestly barely used because after the problems started, I never fully trusted it. The console is now completely dead. Black screen, no power, no response. This is the second time this exact failure has happened. I tried multiple troubleshooting with the online service. Here's what the company told me, in order: My machine is out of warranty, so the repair is entirely on me. Fine, I expected that. They only give a few years anyways, unlike like others that back their products with 20yrs warranty like AVIRON, which I think you should check out. The proper next step is an on-site technician diagnostic. So I asked for an estimate. Then: there are no technicians available in my area at all. The step they'd just recommended was never an option. Go find your own repair person. Then the real answer: the console is discontinued. They don't sell it. Their suggestion was that I search third-party parts sites myself and hope someone has one with no guarantee it fixes anything. Any part I did buy from them would carry a 90-day warranty. Ninety days, on a "commercial grade" machine. Then I was handed to Sales to discuss upgrading. And the special discount for the loyal customer whose machine had just been declared unrepairable? 30% off MSRP which is their current Labor Day sale. The identical promotion any stranger gets by clicking an ad. That's not goodwill; that's a sales pitch in a customer-service costume. The frame, motor, deck, and belt on my unit are fine. It's a total loss over one electronic part the manufacturer stopped supporting. That's not bad luck that's a business model with an expiration date built in. My treadmill is going in the dumpster. Before you buy from any brand, ask: How long will you stock replacement consoles and control boards? Do you have an authorized technician in my zip code today? What's the warranty on a replacement part? NordicTrack failed all three. Buy something else.

There bike cost me $2,000 and the bearing crapped out. The customer service sucks and they do not address issues after you purchase their product. The company builds defective products and does not service them.

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill two…

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill two years ago and paid extra for an extended warranty. When the fans stopped working, I contacted Amynta, the third-party company NordicTrack uses to administer its extended warranties. Because the warranty is outsourced, NordicTrack and Amynta repeatedly shifted responsibility, leaving me unsure who was actually accountable. NordicTrack initially agreed to address the problem and sent a technician. First, the fans were replaced, but that did not fix the issue. Next, the push-button control boards were replaced, but the fans still did not work. NordicTrack then determined that the console needed to be replaced. At that point, however, the company refused to honor its commitment and told me I was on my own. When I contacted Amynta, it predictably claimed that it was not responsible either. After two months of calls, delays, and trial-and-error repairs, I now have several unnecessary replacement parts, and the original problem remains unresolved. I still do not know what is actually wrong with the treadmill. My advice is to be aware of NordicTrack’s poor product quality, ineffective warranty process, and lack of accountability before purchasing one of its treadmills. I paid for an extended warranty, yet neither NordicTrack nor its warranty provider has taken responsibility for completing the repair. I am now planning to sell this treadmill and purchase one from a more dependable competitor.

Went to the Waterloo shop and was served by Luke who was so helpful and knowledgeable. We were after a treadmill and he pointed us in the right direction. Delivery was great and the treadmill was easy to setup. Once again thank you Luke for your advice and help.
