Extremely disappointed I genuinely feel misled by this purchase I bought an OBDeleven device and additional Credits specifically to activate Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on my Mercedes C-Class. The reason I bought it was simple: OBDeleven's own website advertised CarPlay/Android Auto activation as a One-Click App for the Mercedes C-Class 2015–2021. My vehicle falls within that advertised range. This feature was the sole reason I purchased the device. I wasn't buying it to play around with other coding functions. I bought it specifically to get CarPlay/Android Auto activated. After spending the money on the device and additional Credits, I discovered that the feature isn't actually available. I contacted OBDeleven support expecting there to be an issue with my vehicle or something I'd misunderstood. Instead, I was told that the One-Click App "has not yet been updated" and that their development team is working on releasing an updated version. Honestly, I feel scammed by this purchase. I appreciate that the support team may not personally be responsible for the situation, but from a customer's perspective, this is incredibly frustrating. You advertise a feature for my vehicle. I purchase the hardware specifically because of that feature. I purchase additional Credits to use that feature. Then, after I've paid, I'm told that the feature isn't actually available and is waiting for an update. Had I known that before purchasing, I would never have bought the device. I could have spent the money I paid for the OBDeleven device and Credits towards upgrading the screen/head unit in my Mercedes and getting CarPlay/Android Auto that way. That's what makes this so frustrating. I've spent money based on what I believed was an advertised, available feature, only to find out after purchasing that I can't actually use it. This isn't buyer's remorse. The advertised CarPlay/Android Auto activation was the entire reason I bought the product. If a feature isn't currently available, customers need to be told that before they hand over their money, not after. I now want clear information from OBDeleven on how I return the device and receive a refund, including what happens with the additional Credits I purchased specifically for this functionality. At the moment, I feel like I've paid for something based on an advertised capability that OBDeleven cannot currently provide. I genuinely feel misled and completely let down by the experience.
