BEAUTIFUL PIECES, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE HAVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY DISAPPOINTING
I have purchased a number of necklaces from this company over the years because I genuinely love the designs and have chosen them to commemorate some very important moments in my family and friends’ lives. When my niece was born, I bought necklaces for my sister-in-law, my brother and my mother to honour her birth, as well as a necklace for my niece herself. I have also purchased pieces for myself. Most recently, I bought two necklaces as memorial gifts for a close friend and her daughter following a death in their family. Unfortunately, the necklaces I have purchased have repeatedly broken and required repair within roughly the first six months of ownership. The most recent experience has been especially disappointing. Both memorial necklaces broke. Because my friend and her daughter live in Canada and loved the pieces, they paid locally to have them repaired rather than deal with the inconvenience of returning them. After being repaired, one of the chains then broke again in a completely different place. At this point, this does not feel like an isolated defect. I have experienced enough breakages across multiple purchases to have serious concerns about the durability of the chains. The presentation of the most recent order was also disappointing. These were important sympathy gifts, and some of the gift packaging I had paid for was missing when the order arrived. What was included looked crumpled rather than gift-ready. Given the circumstances and the reason I had purchased the necklaces, that was particularly upsetting. I reached out to the company about these issues and received no response. I am genuinely disappointed to be writing this because I have been a repeat customer and I really do love the concept and appearance of the jewellery. I would happily have continued buying from them. But jewellery bought to mark births, deaths and other significant occasions needs to be durable enough to actually be worn, and repeated breakages followed by no response from customer service are very difficult to overlook.
