High-ticket purchase, low-quality support
I bought CRW wheels through Panda Podium and later contacted them about crash replacement/replacement rim options after damaging the wheelset. Panda Podium’s own marketing had stated that replacement rims were available, but when I actually needed that option, it was not honored in practice. The support process then dragged on for roughly two and a half months, repeatedly stopping until I chased it, leaving me without a usable road wheelset and eventually forcing me to buy another set elsewhere just to get back on the road. This is especially concerning for anyone considering high-ticket items through Panda Podium, such as expensive wheels, frames, or full builds. The whole reason to buy through a dealer rather than direct from a brand is supposed to be trust, accountability, and support if something goes wrong. In my case, that layer of protection did not materialize. After I posted publicly about the experience, Panda Podium suddenly introduced a clearer crash replacement policy and the owner publicly described the service I received as “unacceptable.” He also made it sound as though the private follow-up would be a serious attempt to make things right. In reality, the offer was essentially a modest, time-limited discount on a future purchase, meaning the “compensation” only had value if I spent more money with Panda Podium. Even more absurdly, the discount offered to make up for the experience was lower than some normal public promotions they were running at the time. When I questioned whether this was really a suitable response to service the owner himself had called “unacceptable,” he simply stopped replying, just as the customer service process had done before. No follow-up, no attempt to resolve it further. That, more than anything, removed any remaining doubt for me about how seriously Panda Podium treats post-purchase support when it actually becomes inconvenient. The CRW wheels themselves seemed good, but Panda Podium did not deliver the trust, accountability, or aftersales support that should come with buying expensive products through a dealer. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about purchasing high-value items from them if you expect meaningful support when something goes wrong.

Almost a year without resolution....
18/06/26 Update. After my review, Joe (the founder) reached out and organised a new wheel to be sent within a couple of days which has now arrived. Joe was very responsive throughout and I trust has used this as learning for the team. I've updated my rating accordingly. Original review 21/05/26 Panda Podium’s business model is built on sourcing the best high-performance parts from the Chinese market and backing them up with superior customer service and peace of mind for the consumer. I purchased a Farsports wheelset that developed a clear fault in the rear hub. Despite contacting them promptly, the resolution process has been frustrating. After providing video evidence and waiting for replacement parts (a freehub, despite already having bought a new freehub to try and rectify the issue) that failed to fix the issue, I am still without a functional wheel nearly a year after my initial report. The response pace has been painful. Often waiting several days between responses with multiple requests to evidence the problem exists (despite having the same fault across two bikes with different groupsets). I appreciate the attempts to rectify the issue but I can't help feeling, if this was a UK company with applicable consumer law, it would have been resolved by now. I wish to be corrected and my issue resolved, but for now I wouldn't be able to recommend Panda Podium and would advice others to consider the risk if their product develops a fault.

Great clear customer service
Great clear customer service. Very nice handling of any issues, had small damage to carbon frame in shipping. No other issues or delays happy with the voice velo g major gravel frame 3 months later and a few thousand km in.

Joe and the team at panda podium were…
Joe and the team at panda podium were very helpful with my purchase of my evolve cima frameset and the 9velo cc45 wheelset . Even when evolve had production issues with the frameset Joe did his very best to make sure I got it as soon as possible. He went out of his way to make sure I was kept upto date with my order and once dispatched I received it in the UK within 10days . Would definitely recommend them to anybody who was looking for quality Chinese cycling products.
