I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Pearson. I placed an order for a textbook and paid additional fees for expedited shipping because I needed the textbook promptly for school. Instead, the textbook arrived several days later than expected, and, more importantly, the textbook I received was not the textbook I ordered. I contacted Pearson Customer Service to have the issue corrected. Unfortunately, the interaction did not resolve the problem. The representative repeatedly mispronounced my name despite being corrected multiple times, and I found the communication to be dismissive and unprofessional. I was subsequently informed that an invoice and delivery had been processed. However, I still have not received the correct textbook. Approximately one to two weeks after placing my original order, I remain without the textbook I need for my coursework. At this point, the issue is no longer simply a shipping delay. There have been multiple failures: the wrong textbook was initially shipped, the expedited shipping service I paid for was not fulfilled as expected, and my subsequent contact with customer service did not result in an effective resolution. I am requesting that Pearson: Immediately provide the correct textbook; Refund the expedited shipping fee; Provide appropriate compensation or account credit for the inconvenience; and Properly investigate the handling of my order and customer-service interaction. I am posting this review because I have already attempted to resolve the matter directly through Pearson Customer Service and have not received a satisfactory resolution. Pearson: I need the textbook I paid for, not another confirmation that a delivery has been processed.

Una stella perchè zero non è possibile. Pagina e servizi digitali inqualificabili.

Pearson PTE has transformed from a transparent English proficiency test into a profit-driven machine designed to exploit candidates. My wife and I have taken this exam multiple times. Despite elite preparation capable of hitting a 90/90, the evaluation system consistently fails to reflect real ability. Key Issues Candidates Must Know: Data-Driven Target Score Manipulation: Before the test, Pearson collects detailed profile information—your destination country, visa category, and purpose. It feels like the system uses this data to know exactly what score you need (Proficient vs. Superior). Time and again, candidates are deliberately held back by just 1 or 2 marks in a single module (or overall), forcing them to rebook. The "Rechecking" Illusion: Do not waste money on a score rescore/recheck. The automated system almost never alters the score, making the rechecking process a complete gimmick to extract even more cash. Test Center Bias & Unnecessary Travel: Local centers frequently withhold target scores from local test-takers. Candidates are pushed to travel to other cities—spending extra money on travel and accommodation—only to end up in the exact same retake loop. Scam Ecosystem: Due to continuous unfair results, a massive offline and online market of scams promising "guaranteed PTE scores" has emerged, trapping desperate candidates into financial fraud. An individual candidate easily ends up wasting lakhs of rupees, losing months of effort, and sacrificing mental peace trying to get a fair result from a global giant that shows zero transparency. Final Advice to Future Candidates: Avoid PTE completely. Do not fall into this endless rebooking and rechecking trap. Save your hard-earned money and choose fair, transparent, human-evaluated alternatives like IELTS, CELPIP, or LanguageCert.

Beyond miserable. Customer support consists of an AI assistant that fails over and over again, apologizing profusely in flowery AI language. A complete discrace for a publisher of teaching and learning material.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
