Witchcraft!
Witchcraft! How did I get smoke flavor in chicken and a smoke ring on ribs with no wood? I just got mine and, from a friend who owns one's advice, I started with half chickens. My wife took a bite and said that the smoke flavor was great. When I told her there was no wood involved, she was blown away. So naturally I had to try ribs next. It's almost too easy. I sent pics to my competition BBQ buddies and they think I'm lying about not using wood. I took a couple of ribs to one of them 2 days later. Without even heating it up, he loved it. He said, "everything I know is a lie" because of the flavor that I got off of Kingsford. Brisket was next. I ended up buying a flat because I couldn't find a full packer that hadn't been hacked to death. It was good, but not great. But, the only issue was that it didn't have the point to add the flavor and the extra fat to render into the meat. I'm going to do a full packer next and I'm sure I'll love it. The flat had great flavor and was cooked well. It was just a little dry because it didn't have the point.

Do not buy the grill cover:(
I love the cooker and it's brilliant but I bought the Premium Weatherproof Grill Cover and it's terrible. At the slightest drop of rain it soaks straight through and then just sits in the lid. I tried to return it was unable to because apparently Pit Barrel's definition of "weatherproof" does not include rain.

Great Product and Service
I have had my cooker now for just about 1.5 years.I love it and have been able to make great tasting meals. I also have purchased a couple of accessories, and when there was a shipping issue, of which didn't seem to be pit barrels fault they took care of me and expedited a new set of what I ordered and allowed me to keep what was having the shipping issues when it finally arrived. In this process I was personally called by Noah one evening and he made sure everything was going te get taken care of it it was.
