I recently contacted Pure Fishing UK regarding a missing drag knob on my Mitchell MX2 Pro 2500 HS reel, and I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Iain Whiteley. His level of service was genuinely World Class! From the very first email, he got back in minutes and was incredibly helpful. Rather than simply sending a generic response, he took the time to look up the reel schematic, check availability and make sure he fully understood the issue before coming back to me. What really stood out, though, was his kindness and generosity. When it turned out that the replacement part wasn’t available, he went above and beyond and offered to replace the entire reel free of charge, even arranging shipping to Ireland. That is exceptional customer service, and Pure Fishing is very fortunate to have someone like Iain representing the company and its brands. I’m so grateful for the time, effort and kindness he showed throughout. A brilliant experience from start to finish. I will definitely be using Pure Fishing again. Thank you, Iain!

Onwaarschijnlijk een vislijn van savage gear (350euro) breekt uit het niets, niet uitgooien geen aanbeetniets. Na 2 jaar en een tienal maal gebruikt. Doidleuk de garantie is verlopen. Terwijl dit in USwel wordt onderzocht. Zoek even op wat ze allemaal verdelen ( en dat is veel) en probeer dit arrogant bedrijf te vermijden

Communication is not very good!
I have been trying to get the warranty of my fishing pole done. I got the email saying I was going to be getting a replacement. That was 10 day ago. I have sent 3 email and no response. I have called so many times. After 5 minutes of the same orchestral piece you are told to leave a message. I left a message. Still no response. I do not know why I cannot speak to someone or get communication with Pure Fishing.

STAY AWAY - bad warranty experience STAY AWAY! I had a nice Fenwick 8 wt fly rod and the rod itself was good quality and I was happy with it. However it broke, and when I tried to see about warranty I found out, not only did I have to pay $70 Cdn, and what they were offering to replace it with was a much lower quality fly rod that did not match the performance of my previous rod. Save your money, most decent fishing rods will actually stand behind their warranty and honour it. I won’t spend throw good money after bad and I recommend anybody shopping for a fishing rod consider better backed options

Great customer service
I recently had a problem with a broken Shakespeare fly rod and wanted to replace a section. iain Whitely was super helpful and understanding of the breakage. A spare section was not available but he generously arranged to replace the whole rod. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend both Shakespeare and Pure Fishing.
