We opened a RateHawk account looking for access to a car hire partner. Their car hire rates turned out to be terrible, but some of their hotel rates are very competitive. However, their tone-deaf and aggressive account management tactics are completely counterproductive. Following an unexpected, unsolicited outreach email from our sales rep, I responded explicitly informing him that we intended to use the platform for hotel reservations due to competitive rates. He ignored the content of my message entirely. Instead, he sent back a canned template insisting on a mandatory "discovery call" to justify keeping the account open. Threatening to deactivate accounts for clients who have literally described how they propose to use the platform, just to force an unnecessary phone call, is a terrible way to conduct business. This review has my name. If you want to delete my account then just delete it. There's no need to waste my time with outreach theatre.

Three failed hotel arrangements left our guests stranded at 2:30 a.m. We booked accommodation in Bodrum for our guests through RateHawk. When they arrived at the first hotel, they found the conditions completely unacceptable and had to leave. We have photographs documenting the actual condition of the property. We immediately informed RateHawk and booked another hotel through their system. However, when our guests arrived, they were told that the hotel was fully booked and could not accommodate them. We contacted RateHawk again and explained the situation. RateHawk then suggested another hotel and instructed us to send our guests there. When they arrived, they discovered that the property had not opened at all during the season and was completely closed. As a result of three consecutive accommodation failures, our guests were left stranded in the middle of the night. At approximately 2:30 a.m., I personally collected them, found another hotel through my own efforts, and paid to arrange their accommodation. Despite being informed at every stage, RateHawk has refused to compensate us for the financial loss and serious inconvenience caused. Their response has effectively been that there is nothing they can do. This is unacceptable. A booking platform must take responsibility when confirmed accommodation is unavailable—especially when the alternative hotel recommended by its own support team is not even operating. We have retained the booking records, correspondence, receipts, and photographs relating to this incident. Unless RateHawk reimburses our documented losses and provides a proper resolution, we will pursue the matter through our lawyers and all available legal channels. Based on our experience, we cannot consider RateHawk a reliable booking partner.

I’ve had two separate cases where my clients were left without accommodation in the middle of the night due to issues with RateHawk. The original bookings were refunded, but no proper compensation was provided for the damage caused. Instead, they offer a few LP that do absolutely nothing to compensate for the reputation damage to my travel agency and the clients I have lost as a result. A professional platform should take responsibility when its mistakes directly affect its partners and their clients. Very disappointing and unprofessional service.

I created a booking for my client in February. All paid for. 15 minutes prior to check in, I received a cancellation notice. ‘Duplicate booking’. I called the hotel directly to check and they confirmed that they do not use third party booking sites!!! So RH are advertising and taking money for properties that they then do not secure the booking for. I have used them a few times prior without problems. However, I have now lost confidence. It means calling the property ahead of booking to check they use RH, which is just additional work.

I was experiencing a serious issue with a hotel regarding a request, as they were not responding to my messages. The Individual Bookings team was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. They provided prompt assistance, answered all my questions, and helped me find the best solution for my client. Their professionalism, dedication, and efficiency made a difficult situation much easier to manage. Thank you for your outstanding support!

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
