VIP Package Desert Safari Review: A Disappointing Experience We purchased the VIP package, drawn in by the promise of a premium desert safari experience. Initially, things started well. The vehicle, a Switzerland Cruiser, arrived on time, and our driver lowered the air pressure before taking us off-road. The drive itself, especially the sand-surfing portion, was probably the highlight of the trip. It was exhilarating and gave us a brief taste of adventure. However, things started to go downhill quickly. On the way to the camp, it seemed our safari experience was cut short. The driver appeared to skip portions of the sand dune experience, and we arrived at the camp much earlier than expected, making us the first to arrive. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the VIP cabin. Unfortunately, the VIP seating was located so far from the main stage that it was difficult to enjoy the performances. When the time for dinner came, the real disappointment set in. Despite the wide variety of food on offer, every single dish we tried was extremely disappointing. The food was tasteless, seemed stale, and felt entirely unworthy of a VIP package. It was, without exaggeration, some of the worst food we have ever had. The entertainment program started with some promise, including a ballet dancer who performed briefly, but the rest of the program was underwhelming and unengaging. Combined with the poor dining experience, we decided to leave early. The setting of the camp added to the disappointment. Instead of the iconic sweeping sand dunes one associates with desert safaris, this location was surrounded by shrubs and trees. It didn’t feel like a true desert experience at all. Having previously visited the Sahara Desert and its magnificent sand dunes, the comparison made this experience all the more lackluster. In conclusion, this desert safari did not live up to its promises or the standards of a VIP package. The food was terrible, the entertainment was uninspired, and the location lacked the charm and authenticity of a true desert. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable desert safari, we recommend looking elsewhere. This experience fell far short of expectations, and we will not be booking with this company again. I don’t trust 5 stars reviews here. They probably purchased.
