2 Week Personalized Trip to Peru/Galapagos
Our recent trip to Peru and the Galápagos was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, our travel coordinator Jacquie Granda with Responsible Travel did an EXCEPTIONAL job creating a personalized itinerary that perfectly balanced adventure, culture, and education. The excursions included were outstanding and took us to places we never would have discovered had we planned the trip ourselves. Every experience felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. We especially appreciated learning about the local culture from knowledgeable local guides who had deep connections to the communities and shared fascinating history, traditions, and insights that made each destination unique and meaningful. Jacquie was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process, happily customizing our itinerary to include specific hotels, restaurants, and experiences that were important to our group. During the trip, she checked in with us nearly every day to make sure everything was going smoothly and to see if we needed anything. That level of care and attention made us feel supported from start to finish. One experience truly demonstrated how much she and the member of Responsible Travel go above and beyond. After our visit to Machu Picchu, one member of our group realized they had accidentally left their cell phone at a shopping stall after we had already boarded the train back to Cusco. We thought it was gone for good. Jacquie immediately sprang into action, coordinating with our guide, who located the phone, and then arranging for another guide to deliver it to our hotel in Cusco. We were beyond grateful and incredibly relieved. That level of dedication and customer service is something we’ll never forget. Every guide we had throughout Peru, Ecuador, and the Galápagos was exceptional. They were knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging, sharing interesting history, wildlife, and cultural information at every stop. They also genuinely cared about our group—even helping carry one member’s belongings during a particularly challenging hike. Highlights of our trip included visiting the different sites in the Sacred Valley and learning all the interested Incan history associated with each site as well as seeing and experiencing all the beautiful vast landscapes Peru has to offer. Additionally, seeing all wildlife in the Galápagos Islands was incredible! We felt like we had way more wildlife encounters with all the endemic species in the Galapagos including the marine iguanas, tortoises, blue-footed boobies, sharks, penguins, etc. compared to the average traveler with all the different tours that were organized in our itinerary. It was absolutely amazing! Overall, this trip exceeded every expectation. It was educational, authentic, seamless, and unforgettable. We experienced so much more than we expected and far more than many other travelers we met along the way. We returned home with incredible memories and a much deeper appreciation for these amazing destinations. I wholeheartedly recommend Responsible Travel to anyone planning a trip to Peru, Ecuador, or the Galápagos!

Great Ecuadorian Adventure
This trip was very well planned by Jose from start to finish. The activities were fantastic and had good variation. Jose is in frequent contact with us throught the trip and quickly answered all questions. Our guide in and around Quito. Danny, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver Louis, was also very kind and friendly. All 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed this trip and felt very well taken care of, from accommodation to transports. We highly recommend this trip.

Remarkable trip planning, guide services and communications.
There were four of us who traveled for 2 weeks in Ecuador in late June/early June 2026 and used Responsible Travel Latin America to book our trip and plan everything. They did an amazing job. On the front end, Alvaro was our main contact and he worked with us through multiple emails and a couple of phone calls to lay out and then fine tune the details of our trip, which was pretty elaborate. The trip itinerary he put together was very clear and detailed about each day's logistics and activities. And the costs we paid were very reasonable and appropriate. Responsible Travel also did a great job in finding a guide, Felipe Meneses, and driver Alvaro, who spent 10 days with us. Felipe was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and a great leader on the seven hikes he chose and then led for us. HIs English was impeccable. Alvaro was an excellent driver and always on time, friendly and helpful. Jose from Responsible Travel made sure to check in with us multiple times during the trip and ask for honest feedback. All in all, Responsible Travel provided us with an incredible experience professionally managed the whole way. I would definitely use them again for a future trip to South America.

Ecuador Adventure with 4 Gringos
Myself and four close friends worked with this agent to customize a complex 10 day, outdoor adventure with a full time guide, driver and hotels in the central Andes region of Ecuador. I cannot say enough about the trip. It was beyond our expectations in the quality of the hotels and overall service. The biggest standout was the guide (Felipe Meneses) and our driver Arturo who I didn’t get the last name.
