Poor housekeeping
The unit that we rented was exactly what we wanted in terms of size and location, however, when we arrived the floors were sticky and covered with crumbs! We requested that they be cleaned while we were out to dinner and the cleaning crew did return, BUT they only wet mopped the areas around the furniture, and nothing else. When we sat on couch we could see dust and crumbs until the TV stand and under the couch itself. So, what could have been a lovely stay started with an ICK factor that we could resolve.

Terrible Service
I have used rental homes for many years. Florida Vacation Homes is BY FAR the least capable, unhelpful and negligent rental company I have worked with. Our rental had no functioning water or ice in the fridge. Also - the dryer didn't work. Despite being notified at the beginning of the trip (we stayed 10 nights), the staff did not correct any of these items. I had 9 people staying in a 6 bedroom home... all of whom packed assuming laundry was available during our stay... and only the washer worked. The management never even sent someone out to LOOK at the dryer. I asked for them to send a laundry service to pick up laundry from the home, which they refused to do. We ended up hanging all of our laundry up in the closets which took 48 hours to dry. Not exactly what you want to do on vacation. We accidentally left my child's stuffed animals in the washer when we left. We called FOUR times to retrieve them - including the day we left. We were told they had been retrieved and we were to be sent information on the shipping company they worked with to get the items home. Not only were we sent no information on the shipping company, but when we called back for the FOURTH time, they said they didn't have the items any longer. I will never rent a house through this company again. Absolutely terrible.

Needs new furniture
When we first arrived we couldn’t even get in. The passcode for the door didn’t work. It took someone more than one hour to get back to us after a long day and flight. The white couch was terrible. Peeling off like crazy. Every time you tried sitting on it the white pleather was everywhere on your clothes and on the floor. The washers has black mold around the rim soon as you open. Smells really bad. Does anyone ever take the time to wipe it down with bleach. Whoever cleans this house does not do a thorough cleaning. We cleaned before leave but I wasn’t about to clean the washers. I already paid for the cleaning service added to my bill. They even ask if you could put a load of towels in the dryer if possible.

Good place, but with issues
After entering the property, my family and I were impressed with the layout of the apartment, along with the security and quiet neighborhood. However, during our stay we were met with issues such as a clogged sink drain in the master bathroom, to used towels left inside a closed door space which appeared to have started growing mold. After contacting the guest services team to have the sink issued resolved, I was told day after day, for 3 days - with multiple email follow-ups - that maintenance would come to check to have it resolved. I really wanted to like the place and was hoping to give a 5 star review, unfortunately this was not the case. I just hope future guests have a better experience and the team resolves the issues I brought to their attention.
