Family cooking experience
My family of 4 (including 2 kids, 7 and 8 years old) attended Apple's Thai cooking class in July 2026. We all had a wonderful experience and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Khao Lak. Apple picked us up from our hotel and took us to the local market. It was an eye opening experience for the kids and they are still talking about it. We then settled into cooking at Apple's house. She has a lovely dedicated area to the side of her house and is supported by a couple of lovely young girls to help out. The kids and us got a hands on experience and Apple was very open to the kids doing everything and just going with the flow of what the kids wanted! The food we cooked were all so simple to cook and honestly the best Thai food we had on our trip! There was so much food and it was enjoyed by both adults and kids. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.

Vraiment Excellent et bluffant du début à la fin😉, grâce au dynamisme et au professionnalisme d’Apple. On commence par la visite guidée d’un marché superbe pour récupérer les produits à cuisiner. Ensuite on découvre une cuisine extérieure superbe et 2 assistantes sympathiques dans laquelle le cours de cuisine se déroule magnifiquement. La dégustation finale clos ce moment rare. Le détail des recettes réalisées est envoyé par la Chef avec qui nous restons en contact avec grand plaisir.

Good recipies wand explenation to reuse at home
I’ve being there a few years ago. Great experience. With adult and teens. Well prepared, good explenations, and great that she sends all the recipies to your e-mail. I still uses some of her recipies with my cooking students.

Riverside Thai Cooking School 5 star experience for foodies
We went to Riverside Thai Cooking School in April 26. We were able to select from a list of 30 recipes as to what we wanted to learn. It was a fantastic experience. Apple is the Chef and owner. She collected us from the hotel and took us to the markets .This was very enlightening. We were able to buy some ingredients to take back home. The Cooking school and lunch were equally impressive. I can highly recommend this business to you.

Its cold and Wet back in the UK...but Apple has brought the warmth of the Thai sun with her recipe email. Plus reminded me to write this review! Anyone can teach you how to cook something? What is special about Apple's cooking classes is she genuinely loves what she does. We were a family of 8 and all chose different dishes. It was really well organised, through out. The market tour, to buy the class ingredients was great. Full of vibrancy, colour and smells. Apple's interactions with the local vendors is one of real community connection and personal. Something we lack at times in our built up cities. The cookery space is clean, comfortable and well kitted out. The instructions were clear and best of all truly hands on and participant led. Which is what you want. The class was a full morning, but flew by and we were treated to an additional dish of crisp freshly made spring rolls during a short break. The classes are engaging, full of tips, fun and suited to anyone who wants to get a better insight into Thai cookery or even as a fun activity. My children really enjoyed the experience and the dishes genuinely had that Thai flavour profile. Highly recommend the Riverside Thai cooking classes..I off to cook some Red curry with paste i bought at the market!
