stayed in can mir ruth in puerto pollensa . the villa was outdated. the garden was in a terrible condition and bore no resemblance to the photos onlne . really disappointed

Sealand villas are deceptive and fraudulent

Edit - upon receiving Sealands response I have the following comments: 1 yes a gardener was sent round and he did a good job to tidy up some of the mess it has been in. However the grass is still burnt / dead, the broken furniture remained and the old rug remained. Quite frankly it needed more attention than what the gardener could do. In addition, we shouldn’t have had to contact anyone for the garden to be looked at 2 I have formally complained to sealand and taken pictures / sent them. The current pictures in no way represent the current state of the place. Happy to share these publicly and people can judge for themselves 3 re the cups / glasses, quite frankly we were tired of contacting the company with issues and just wanted to enjoy our holiday 4 the link sent for the review would not work - I’ve been advised by sealand to leave it and try again which I will do and I’ll be in touch to check the review is published 5 the villa owner advised maintenance of the internet is sealands responsibility Sealands response has been shocking and we are taking this further re legal means We stayed at villa can Mir Ruth in Puerto pollensa in August 2026. On arrival it was clear that the pictures sealand villas have on their website are massively inaccurate. We booked the villa for the location and the garden. The garden was a tip; it has not been maintained, all the grass is dead, it needed a good tidy up and removal of the old broken furniture and old rug. The patio round the back was covered in a ripped flooring and the BBQ was filthy. When we complained they sent round a gardener, about 5 days in, who did some tidying up but it still didn’t resemble the pictures. We had no internet for the first week as the modem was broken. In the second week we had to contact them to ask for the pool to be cleaned as it was filthy. Then, we had a power cut and sealand reportedly had lost the garage key to reset it, so it took most of the day to get it fixed. The villa itself is tired, and in need of a massive upgrade. Even the glasses and cups were chipped and some were dirty. We’ve never had to have so much contact with a villa company on holiday before and the villa itself was a disgrace. The pictures are clearly false advertising as we would not have booked it if the true pictures were up. It’s interesting that there are very few recent reviews available and it seems sealand are hiding any negative reviews. We have taken pictures of the state of the place and have asked them about submitting a review so will see if they publish it

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We are sincerely sorry that your stay at Villa Can Mir Ruth did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify some of the points mentioned in your review. Regarding the internet connection, unfortunately this was an issue with the external internet provider and was not a service under our control. We contacted the company and followed up on the matter, and the service was eventually restored on the sixth day of your stay. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, in the event of an Internet/Wi-Fi breakdown, technicians may require time to attend or order the necessary parts. Sealand Villas therefore cannot accept responsibility or offer compensation for an interruption to a service that is outside our control. Nevertheless, we did everything possible to assist and followed up with the provider throughout. Regarding the garden, once you informed us of your concerns, we arranged for a gardener to attend the property and carry out maintenance and tidying work. We always endeavour to act as quickly as possible when a guest reports an issue during their stay. The pool was also attended to once you contacted us regarding its condition, and the electricity issue was dealt with as soon as we were made aware of it. Therefore, in all these cases, action was taken during your stay to address the issues that were reported to us. We are also sorry that you found some of the glasses or crockery to be in an unsuitable condition. Had these specific items been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have been happy to replace them. However, we strongly disagree with the statement that Sealand Villas has acted in a “deceptive or fraudulent” manner, or that the photographs published on our website are deliberately false. The photographs used in our advertising represent the villa and its outdoor areas, and there is absolutely no intention to mislead our clients. We understand that the condition of a property can change over time and that gardens and outdoor areas can be affected by weather conditions and the season, but this is very different from deliberately publishing false photographs. We are also sorry that you had to contact our office on several occasions during your holiday. Our role is precisely to assist our guests when issues arise, and we always try to resolve reported problems as quickly as possible, within the circumstances that are within our control. Regarding your comments about reviews, we would like to clarify that we do not hide negative opinions. In fact, your review has not yet been submitted through our review system. Once we receive your review through our system, it will be handled in accordance with our usual review procedure. We regret that the villa did not meet your expectations, but we do not believe it is fair or accurate to describe our actions as deceptive or fraudulent, particularly given that we responded and took action regarding the issues that were reported to us during your stay. Nous avons passé un super sejour chez Sealand Villas. La maison est vraiment magnifique, propre et fonctionnelle. L'équipe à vraiment etait super avec nous. Je recommande et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Por favor NO alquilar nada a esta…

Por favor NO alquilar nada a esta empresa. Parece que tienen modales cuando contestan los mails, son caros y no solucionan nada. Llegamos a la casa en Mallorca una de las camas tenía las sábanas con una mancha de sangre, van 3 días no vino nadie a pesar de las constantes quejas. Un aire acondicionado pierde agua y “no se puede hacer nada” entonces vivimos con una toalla en el piso. Busquen OTRA opción, no caigan en alquilar nada con esta empresa.

Sentimos sinceramente las molestias ocasionadas durante su estancia y lamentamos que su experiencia no haya sido la esperada. Hemos revisado las comunicaciones mantenidas con nuestro departamento de asistencia y entendemos perfectamente su frustración. En cuanto recibimos su primer aviso, se indicó que se procedería al cambio de la sábana y se avisó al técnico para revisar el aire acondicionado.Lamentablemente, la solución de ambas incidencias no se ha producido con la rapidez que correspondía, y por ello le pedimos disculpas. Respecto a la sábana, entendemos que es totalmente comprensible que no desee utilizarla en esas condiciones, independientemente del origen de la mancha. Hemos trasladado nuevamente la incidencia al equipo correspondiente para que se gestione su sustitución.En cuanto al aire acondicionado, el técnico ya ha revisado el equipo y nos ha informado de que la pérdida de agua está relacionada con su instalación y que, en este momento, no es posible evitarla por completo. Entendemos las molestias que esto está ocasionando y lamentamos que la solución disponible no sea satisfactoria.Sentimos mucho que, a pesar de haber comunicado los problemas, haya tenido que insistir en varias ocasiones. En ningún caso es nuestra intención que nuestros huéspedes tengan que pasar por una situación así durante sus vacaciones. Atentamente, Sealand Villas
