Just Terrible software
Just Terrible software. I starting my engineer career and I cant understand this kind of software is some leader in the industry. This should be buried like more than decade ago

Useless
I used to use this for my job and I liked it. Now I'm trying to use the version for 'makers'. It's priced right, but it won't actually run. I start 3DExperience and it just disappears. I try starting the app and it says to update the 3DExperience putting me in an endless loop. Totally worthless product for me at this point.

They keep shipping buggy releases. Asleep at the wheel.
They keep shipping buggy releases that tank productivity on large, complicated assemblies—crashes on startup or rebuild, lost mates, flat-pattern regressions, add-in clashes, lost virtual files, and Explorer freezes. Companies are shifting because of that poor reliability plus heavy hardware and driver dependencies; even their “certified” cards and workstations cause issues (HW cert program is a joke). VARs add little real value beyond the same workarounds everyone already finds online. Dassault is pushing everyone toward 3DEXPERIENCE cloud software anyway, where the desktop hardware and driver problems largely disappear.

Switching from Fusion360 to Solidworks…
Switching from Fusion360 to Solidworks (supposely much better) to meet new employer standards. 1 year into the software, dozens of training and tutorials. I think this software is dying. Its probalby the worst soft I have ever used, extremly buggy, few times we lost whole projects that we invested 80+ hours in = assembly and its (checked) security copy stopped working without reason! Drawings are joke, templates are joke. Overcomplicated UI with options to turn on the option for turning on the option that let you turn something off + 10 configuration of this and 3 diferent states. For fk sake.

Solid(no)works
Solid(no)works. Requires a separate launcher which works catastrophically badly. During an update, the launcher uninstalled solidworks but could not reinstall it, leaving me without a CAD-program. Their auto-renewing subscription is somewhat predatory. The money is deducted from your account 7 days before the actual date with no possibility of a refund making their "30 days notice" misleading at best. I have been in contact with their customer service who are neither helpful nor particularly good at english. Lastly, their website is difficult to navigate and unnecessarily complicated just to download the software. Not recommended.
