Working with Camille was an absolute …
Working with Camille was an absolute pleasure. She guided me to put together a family safari in Kenya. I told her what I was thinking and she did the rest. She took care of every detail from arrival to departure. Her people who met us on arrival made everything so simple. The staffs at the camps couldn’t be nicer. We stayed our first nigh at The Emakoko Lodge in Nairobi. It was a great introduction to Kenya. Ol Seki Mara Lodge was beautiful and so were the people. Reteti House in Northern Kenya was different but still amazing. If you’re going to go on Safari or do anything in Africa you’’d be crazy not to use Southern Destinations and Camille.

Camille Rowe was exceptional.
The staffs at both reserves we went to were excellent with wonderful hospitality. Our travel agent throughout our adventure was Camille Rowe. She was extraordinary from start to finish. Her responsiveness and expertise were evident immediately. We booked our safari 18 months in advance . She took care of every detail, was patient with my endless questions through the entire 18 months. I can't imagine a better safari consultant than Camille. She made our safari adventure a success! I recommend her and Southern Destinations wholeheartedly.

Awesome family facation!
We had an outstanding experience working with our travel agent Lise from Southern Destinations. Lise guided us and created a wonderful family vacation carefully crafting an itinerary that balanced incredible wildlife experiences, beautiful accommodations and seamless travel from place to place. Never having traveled to Africa, she was very responsive to our questions and guided us as we were getting ready for the trip. She provided valuable information to address any pre-travel concerns. We had contact information available during our trip, but everything went so well, we never needed to reach out. It was a trip of a lifetime and we credit the planning and process to Lise!

Liesl Really Is A Travel Guru!
Liesl Matthews could not have been more pleasant or easy to work with. More importantly, her detailed assistance in all matters large and small made the trip! Her choice of a guide for us in Capetown was perfect! That’s the kind of thing that can make or break a trip. She arranged special touches throughout the trip that were greatly appreciated . Every transport connection between safari lodges worked perfectly . She was always immediately responsive. It will be fun to work with her again to plan the next South African adventure . I learned of her through a friend who has planned 6 ( or more?) safaris with her guidance . She really is a travel guru!
