Choose Affinity Over Adobe
The elements missed in opting for Affinity over Adobe are the trace-to-vector option in Illustrator and an app for moving-video editing (the equivalent, Premiere); otherwise, Affinity has everything that Adobe has, is cheaper, more intuitive to use, the company is not thieving from you via manipulation of the economy and their programs do not communicate with the company on the sly via hidden...Microsoft (surprise, surprise) files. Adobe is old news and a bore in their kissing of Microsoft's backside. As for Adobe: A trained graphic-design graduate at the top art university in the U.K, I like any other professional require the best tools, and Adobe are the resource which used to set industry standards in my line of work, only in more recent years have stood still technically (forgetting that other companies are pulling up alongside) whilst deciding to trade as ISPs (for example) who leave the customer back at square one with nothing to show for the money (post-contract). One used to be able to get hold of programs on CD and these were of course a lifetime purchase, whereas now you spend an equivalent amount of funds and end up after a year with no software. This is called profiteering. The company may as well rename themselves Macadobe because it is the niche-targeted insular Apple clientele who don't mind spending over amounts on minimal return. And Adobe goes about this advertising trick by elevating 'app'-technology to its very own marketplace as if cloud-computing somehow changes the fundamentals of business-ethics.

Spark/Adobe Express - easy to navigate for a newbie
I used Spark, which is now called Adobe Express. It's a dummy-proof way to do things like format social media postings, create advertisements, even do basic video editing. I find Adobe's other products to be overwhelming to a novice, but even I can pick up how to use this product. I am also able to do whatever I need in the free version. If I do use premium I will update.

Dont sign up for the free trial.
They say you can cancel your free trial anytime but you cant. You can cancel it only after paying for the first month so its not a ''free'' trial after all and its overpeiced af. This is a pure legal scam...

They put the phone down on me
I always get overcharged and they never sort it out for me. I've rang multiple times in the last 2 months and I get northing resolved. Today I had someone put the phone down on me when I was explaining my issue. I was overly polite to the woman as I've worked in customer service before so I find it appalling. I feel I ring up and get no help.
