Coole Armatur, wenn diese denn mal länger als 2 Jahre halten würde! Da ich diese Steinberg 100.1490 für mich sehr praktisch finde, hatte ich bereits mindestens 4, davon waren 3 noch vor Garantie Ende kaputt, der ersatz ist auch verschliessen und der letzte ersatz aus 2025 leckt auch schon wieder nachbgrad mal einem Jahr. Wie kann es sein, das ein Hersteller, der sicherlich Kenntnis von diesem speziellen, grundsätzlichem Problem hat, dieses nicht behebt, sondern offensichtlich mit absicht, defekte Ware anbietet!!???

Every single thing you want to do is shrouded in mystery and impenetrable menus
I can only pick up a few highlights of a pattern I have found at every step of the way with this shocking piece of software starting with the most recent: 1. Midi Controller Integration: I bought a Novation Launchkey 37 precisely because it is supposedly optimized for Cubase 14 right out of the box. It took me 4 hours, 3 tutorials and 2 LLM's to get it to work. I THEN OPENED UP STUDIO PRO 8 AND DID THE SAME THING, UNASSISTED, IN TWO MINUTES!!! 2. Ghosts in the Machine: Tracks stop working because a plugin failed Cubase start up once and so the program never checks it again unless you go into your windows folders, delete it, start Cubase again, put it back and start it again. Ghost hardware that you no longer even being given priority over the hardware you do own EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO WITHIN CUBASE TO DELETE IT!!! Again, the solution is to navigate your windows files and delete it manually. 3: 80's style interface: I mean all the menu diving you have to do in order to accomplish the most simple and obvious tasks for starters. The fact that you have to create a folder in windows before you can even create a project. I kid you not. You have to create a windows folder for it first in order to start a project. That means you have to name your song before you even know what it is called because if you change the name later, obviously all your audio links are destroyed. 4. Autosave that doesn't save anything: This is the mostly unforgivable since it has been a feature of 11, 12, 13 and 14, so presumably predates my miserable involvement with this nasty piece of software. If you are unfortunate enough, as many of us are, to have an unstable version of Cubase that crashes, you'll likely find that when it crashes it will take the time to delete your auto-saves too. Why? For the same kind of 'stuck in the 80's reason as far as I can tell. Project files used to be relatively large, so it was a space saving mechanism that somehow survives to this very day where the files are tiny and our storage is near limitless. Why would they not fix this I do not know. I can only imagine laziness, and the famed contempt they have for new users. 5. If you have been making music since the 80's the workflow might make sense to you. If you compose complex cinema-style arrangements where access to advanced and specialist tools are your go to then you may be happy with this program. If you did not have those decades of experience then you will have to look behind these advanced features to find the simple and obvious things that all music producers want to do. For example, you cannot toggle between your reference track and your mixbus without setting up 'control room. I gave up after three hours of trying. You cannot mono a track without putting a mono plugin on it, the list goes on. The hours of lost creativity, the moments of pure inspiration destroyed by a technical issue that takes four hours to find a nonsensical answer to.... I have cross graded to Studio Pro now where everything works and everything actually makes sense. I don't usually have the time to write reviews but, and this may seem like an exaggeration but sadly it is not - buying cubase is top three in terms of the biggest mistakes of my life, and I've lived quite a long time so far.

Die Lieferung kam wie angekündigt an. Doch es handelt sich um minderwertige Ware die dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht entspricht. Rücksendung geht auf Kosten des Käufers, was in meinem Fall 35 € Porto und 15 € Zoll bedeuten würden. Da ich "nur" für 89 € eingekauft habe mach ich mir nicht die Arbeit. Leider habe ich ich die schlechten Rezensionen zu spät gelesen und kann nur sagen: FINGER WEG VON DIESEM SHOP

Steinberg ist Top!
Ich benutze viele Produkte von Steinberg: Cubase Pro 14, Wavelab Pro 12, SpectraLayers 12 (schlägt in vielen Bereichen izotope RX Advanced um Längen und ist günstiger). Absolutes Highlight und lange unterschätzt ist HALion in der aktuellen Version 7. Wer die Zeit mitbringt sich einzuarbeiten, wird viel Freude daran haben. Inzwischen gibt es eine Vielzahl von vorgefertigten Libraries und ist mit seiner NoteExpression-Unterstützung herausragend.
