Seller penalised despite official proof from Arsenal
I am extremely disappointed with my experience as a seller on StubHub International. I supplied genuine Arsenal tickets, yet the sale was cancelled based on a claim that the buyer was rejected at the stadium, and I was charged an excessive €270.80 administrative fee. I provided evidence showing that both tickets were marked as “Utilised” in Arsenal’s official system. StubHub initially said this was not sufficient proof of successful entry. I then contacted Arsenal Football Club directly. Arsenal reviewed the attendance and stadium access records and provided written confirmation that entry was ultimately obtained using the tickets and that both tickets were utilised. StubHub then requested that I forward Arsenal’s original email, which I did within the requested timeframe. I am still waiting for the matter to be properly resolved. As a seller with previously successful transactions, I find it extremely frustrating to face such a substantial penalty despite providing official evidence directly from the football club. I simply expect the evidence to be fairly reviewed and the €270.80 charge to be reversed.

My listing was taken down without my knowledge. When I tried to relist it, it was not permitting it. I contacted customer services and they said it’s a high risk event and only some accounts are allowed to list. However, I have had an account with Stubhub for many years now and had no recent claims. Because of this I was unable to sell tickets to this event and lost money. Very disappointed. I am considering using other websites.

DO NOT USE STUBHUB!! Terrible service, scam!!
DO NOT USE STUBHUB They rip off both the buyers and seller. I sold tickets for a gig last weekend, 2 separate sales. Both tickets sold and transferred on ticketmaster. Both buyers acknowledged that they had the tickets. Stub hub had cancelled one sale as they said I did not transfer the ticket for one sale in time. I provided full proof that the ticket had been transferred and accepted the day before the gig. They also applied a £85 dishonour fee to my account. When I sent in proof of transfer they removed the dishonour fee but are now saying they still wont give me the money for the ticket. I even have the buyer emailing them as stubhub provide the email address for the buyers. She has sent in proof to say that she has received and used the ticket but they still fight this. It is currently being escalated for the third time. I am awaiting reply.

I bought a premier league ticket from stubhub international. Promised to be delivered electronically by Friday (mobile ticket). Starting Saturday morning, I called over and over stubhub international to inquire but I was placed on hold for hours yet no one picked up. I emailed, chat the AI robot, and anything to get their attention. Sunday comes still no ticket. The game is at 4 pm. I frantically call starting 10 AM (their business hour on Sunday is 10AM - 7 PM) but the entire day call goes straight to “Please call again during business hours”. Given they are a reselling platform and thus a middleman, I understand seller causing an issue and not sending the tickets. However, the lack of support was baffling to me. How can they provide 0 support and still function as a company?Could not get anyone on the phone (wouldn’t even go through) and no response to email. Absolutely unacceptable and never using stubhub international again. Wasted so much time, opportunity, and missed the game that I traveled so far to see. It would have been my first game for my team.
