Having bought my dance shoes from Supadance a few years back I was generally happy with the performance of the shoe despite the felt pulling back quite soon after I used them. The shop assistant was also very helpful at the store when purchasing the shoe. Anyway, once they became unusable I decided to contact them for a repair. Sadly they are no-longer based in Buckhurst Hill, so I contacted their ‘head office’ in Loughton. When I phoned the customer assistant told me to email pictures of my shoes to the sales email so that they could analyse if they could be repaired. The reply I received was very confusing as the individual told me to go directly to the (now closed) shop in Buckhurst Hill to seek a repair. Confused, I decided to contact their Loughton head office again and was met with a lady on the phone called ‘Chantel’. When I detailed my experience to her I was simply looking for a straightforward customer experience after receiving a confusing email. All I want is my shoes repaired. Instead I was met with further confusion. I didn’t feel looked after or valued as a customer and I immediately got the impression that ‘Chantel’ was apathetic to my needs and seemed unsure at what to tell me and indecisive at what to do. Eventually she stated that I could either come down to the branch (with no guarantee of my shoes being fixed) or send my shoes off freepost to the store in Loughton. Overall my experience felt confusing and chaotic which I expressed to Chantel before leaving the call feeling very disappointed at my customer experience. I also asked her who the manager was as I wanted to share my poor experience, and that my simple wish for a repair could be fulfilled. Chantel told me that there wasn’t a manager, and the call ended. At no time during the conversation were voices raised or arguments had. So imagine my continued confusion when I received two emails. The first I expected, which concerned information about the free post service. This also stated that my shoes were out of guarantee (which I never had an issue with, or made an issue about. I just wanted them repaired and was happy to pay for it) the second email was a disgrace. For some unknown reason Chantel took it upon herself to leave a threatening paragraph which wrote: Further information to bear in mind: As a UK business, we can refuse future service to a customer or ban them from purchasing in future if they are abusive or unreasonable. There was zero abuse (it’s a shame the call wasn’t recorded), simply a wish to have my shoes repaired. Instead not only have I experienced terrible customer service but also an email which basically states; take your customer needs elsewhere. Shocking for a company with such heritage.

I am delighted with my practice ballroom skirt from Supadance. The skirt is beautiful and just what I wanted. I can’t wait to wear it. This is my first purchase and I will certainly be buying again from them. Delivery was very quick too.

Terrible experience trying to purchase gift vouchers via the website. The moneys been taken, but no email confirmation that the vouchers are on their way. I then get an email that says "Thanks for stopping by. We saved all of the great items you've added to your cart so when you're ready to buy, simply complete your purchase". So I'm having to email back to ask, is this order on its way or not?

Purchased shoes, encountered a problem with them after a few months and reported it. The customer service was outstanding. So very attentive and concerned and put the problem right immediately. Can not fault Supadance and will not buy shoes from anywhere else now.

I have bought two pairs of men's ballroom shoes. Both pairs had the same problem. The leather in top of the shoe split. I understand soles and heels wearing out but, not the tops splitting. I have never seen that in shoes.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
