Six+ years in, and it just quietly works
I've been a Sync.com customer for six plus years. That's long enough to say something most reviews can't: it has never lost anything of mine, and I've never once had to contact support. What prompted me to write this was scrolling through photos I pulled off a phone I don't even own anymore. The best part is that some of these were files I'd deleted from my phone — long gone from the device, still sitting safely in the cloud where the backup had put them. I'd never have those photos without this service. Both the app and the website are simple to navigate. Nothing is buried, nothing needs a tutorial, and I can find a file from years back in a few taps. That sounds like a small thing until you compare it to services that redesign their interface every eighteen months and hide what you need. The value is what keeps me here. I'm not paying a premium for a brand name — I'm paying for storage that does its job in the background and doesn't ask anything of me. Set it up once and it handles the rest. If you're comparing options, weigh reliability over features. Ten years of never having to think about my backups is worth more than any feature list.

Sync made my data sharing project a success!
I used Sync for a specific project with a one year time frame. Uploading and organizing the data was easy to learn and use, even reorganizing once uploaded. The interface is intuitive and quick to learn. Other members of the group were able to access and share the data across a variety of platforms without difficulty. Sync is cost effective and easy to use. Try it on your next diverse platform activity.

I’m a therapist who works internationally, and over the years I’ve looked carefully at many different cloud storage services because confidentiality and data security are extremely important in my profession. I am appalled by how companies such as Google are handing over people’s information right and left to ICE, other government agencies, and other third parties while at the same time claiming to offer confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant services. To me, those claims increasingly feel like absolute nonsense and rubbish when the underlying privacy protections do not match what professionals are being led to believe.I have used Sync for approximately ten years, and my experience has been excellent. If you are looking for something that is ultra-secure and has not suffered the kinds of security problems and breaches associated with Dropbox and other flimsy cloud-storage services, I would definitely recommend Sync. Compared with Dropbox and many of the other major cloud providers I have looked at, Sync has consistently felt far more serious about security and privacy. My experience over ten years with Sync is that it has been extremely, extremely secure and follows protocols that make me feel I am able to sleep well at night knowing my clients’ information is protected. When you are responsible for highly sensitive client information, that level of confidence matters enormously. If security, confidentiality, and privacy are among your highest priorities, I strongly recommend Sync. After roughly a decade of using it, it remains the cloud-storage service I trust most with sensitive information.
