I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Tailor Brands. I originally signed up for services for my LLC, but I was later hit with $1,195 in renewal charges $598 for the Elite LLC Plan, $498 for Registered Agent service, and $99 for a Business License Report. When I contacted support, I was told that existing customers had been offered the option to switch to a two year plan to “lock in” their current rate, and that I was charged two years upfront. The problem is that I did not knowingly agree to changing my billing to a two year term or authorize these charges at these amounts. Even their support representative acknowledged that the charges had caught me off guard. Instead of immediately reversing the charges, I was offered only a partial refund for the second year while they kept payment for the first year. I declined. I have since learned that I can handle my New Hampshire LLC annual filing directly with the state and serve as my own registered agent, which I have now done. I ended up having to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges and block further transactions from Tailor Brands.
