My experience with Target Rent at Milan…
My experience with Target Rent at Milan Malpensa was extremely disappointing and stressful. I rented a Citroën C5, registration GW077NN, under rental agreement RNT-101578, from 11 to 18 August 2026. When I returned the vehicle, a member of Target Rent staff was present and I handed the keys directly to them. At that time, no scratches or new damage were pointed out to me, no joint inspection was carried out with me, and I was not asked to sign or acknowledge any damage report. After I had left, Target Rent alleged that I had caused two “serious scratches” to the rear right door and rear fender. It then charged €806: €403 for each alleged scratch. I completely dispute this charge and do not believe I caused the alleged damage. I asked for clear, time-stamped evidence showing the vehicle’s condition at collection and immediately on return, an explanation of when the inspection took place, preservation of CCTV footage from the return car park, and an itemised repair invoice or estimate. Target Rent relied on a fixed damage grid, said it would not provide a repair estimate, and ultimately stated that it would not provide any further feedback. I have raised a formal card dispute with my credit-card provider. In my view, it is unacceptable for staff to accept the keys without identifying any issue at the time, then later make a substantial damage claim when the customer is no longer present to inspect the vehicle or respond. My advice to anyone considering this company: take detailed, time-stamped photos and video of every panel at pickup and return; ask for a joint return inspection; do not leave until any alleged damage is shown to you and documented; and keep every email and document. Based on my experience, I would not rent from Target Rent again and would not recommend them.

Failed to state in advance that credit…
Failed to state in advance that credit card needed to be old fashioned style with printed numbers on the card so got hit with a £200 fee. Slow shuttle pick up and in the middle of nowhere. Would highly not recommend.

MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA Y ESTAFA CON…
MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA Y ESTAFA CON TARGET RENT – AEROPUERTO DE BÉRGAMO Alquilamos un vehículo con Target Rent en el aeropuerto de Bérgamo (Italia), recogiéndolo el 23/07/2026 y devolviéndolo el 05/08/2026 a las 18:00 h. En la recogida nos entregaron únicamente las llaves en la oficina, sin que ningún empleado saliera con nosotros a revisar el vehículo. El coche estaba sucio tanto por dentro como por fuera y, además, tenía vacío el depósito del líquido limpiaparabrisas. Nosotros mismos tuvimos que lavar el vehículo y rellenar dicho depósito. Durante el alquiler cuidamos el vehículo y lo devolvimos en perfectas condiciones. Al realizar la devolución, nos dijeron que estaba Ok pero insistimos hasta en tres ocasiones que lo revisasen y dieran un documento confirmando que todo estaba correcto. Se negaron a salir de la oficina para revisar el coche y también se negaron a entregarnos el documento que acreditase la recepción del vehículo y su estado. Ante nuestra insistencia, una empleada, de unos 30 años salió finalmente y visiblemente molesta comenzó a revisar el vehículo minuciosamente, haciendo numerosas fotografías hasta encontrar una pequeña imperfección en el barniz de aproximadamente 5 cm, que ni siquiera era un arañazo. Debido a que el vehículo nos fue entregado inicialmente sucio y con polvo, esa pequeña marca no se apreciaba en las fotografías que hicimos al recogerlo. Nosotros mostramos las fotografías y vídeos realizados en el momento de la recogida para demostrar el estado inicial del vehículo, pero aun así nos comunicaron que nos imputarían el coste de esa supuesta incidencia, indicando que "lo valorarían y lo repararía un chapista". Solicitamos una hoja de reclamaciones, pero nos dijeron que no disponían de hojas de reclamaciones. La situación se prolongó durante más de dos horas, en plena ola de calor, viajando con dos niñas, una de ellas con discapacidad, y con el riesgo de perder nuestro vuelo. Finalmente, nos indicaron que debíamos firmar el documento de devolución sin posibilidad de añadir nuestra disconformidad. Cuando finalmente decidimos firmarlo, nos dijeron que ya no era posible porque el documento había sido enviado ya sin nuestra firma. Posteriormente, Target Rent nos ha cargado 200 € en nuestra cuenta por esta incidencia. Considero que la forma de gestionar la devolución fue totalmente inadecuada y que, especialmente en la entrega del vehículo, debería haberse realizado una revisión conjunta y documentada, igual que se hizo posteriormente para buscar cualquier posible desperfecto. El personal que gestiono la situación, especialmente la chica demostró una absoluta falta de profesionalidad, respeto y educación. Recomiendo a cualquier persona que no alquile un vehículo con esta empresa y si decide hacerlo se expone a ser estafada como lo he sido yo. En nuestro caso, después de esta experiencia, no volveremos jamás a alquilar con Target Rent.

Terrible experience
They gave me a worst car than the one I rent: poor ride quality and comfort, weak engine, tight room and trunk space. Upon my complaint, they answered the car has the same number of seats and doors. Unbelievable! Frustrating experience! Terrible customer service!

Target Rent Rome Fiumicino location did…
Target Rent Rome Fiumicino location did not honor a month of May pre approved and prepaid rental reservation of 4 weeks and tried to upsell of 1K more to a higher category vehicle, alleging that we were an hour late from our reservation and so it didn’t need to be honored, wasting hours of our time and leaving us with having to make other travel arrangements after a long international flight. Thanks target rent for the almost “Italian job” upon arrival
