I purchased a complete coil over kit for my e38 740i, after fitting the kit, adjusting preload correctly, and allowing the car time to settle on its new springs, I found the harshness of the ride quality unacceptable, to the point that my car over undulating country roads where I live is literally pogoing at the front end! Its ruined my daily driver for me, and im not being unrealistic, as I have numerous retro moded classics, x1 other fitted with YSR similar coil-over set up, and the ride quality and handling overall was good, although there were finish issues that were poor suggesting no quality control. In this instance with my e38 kit, I emailed Tegiwa with my issues, asking the question could they provide alternative springs? happy to purchase these to remedy ride quality...The reply received was basically obtuse stupid and unhelpful. I persisted with x3 further emails, and to date I have received zero help reply other than a ref no and message to say I will receive reply within 48 hrs.... Conclusion, go elsewhere, no support/help what so ever. I will not deal with this company ever again, I gave them benefit of the doubt with previous finish issues, missed a big red flag there! I would highly recommend avoiding YSR/Tegiwa ...if a problem occurs, their "customer care experts" are based on my recent personal experience most definitely not there to help you!

I ordered 5 litres of diesel flush 6 days ago. My order was immediately acknowledged but I’ve heard nothing from them since. Emailed a query to them today and an automated reply said that they may take up to 48 hours to respond. This further potential delay was unacceptable, so I have ordered from another supplier, cancelled my Tegiwa order and requested a refund for my payment.

Good communication from the start. Placed an order and 1 item was not currently in stock which I was made aware of. After a quick phone call the other items were sent out immediately so I could get going with my project. I was alerted once the other part was in stock and it was dispatched quickly. I had an issue with a part which had failed and happened to see Tegiwa on a trade stand. I had a chat with them and on Monday before I had even had chance I already had an email from them to organise a replacement once I had sent pictures of the failed item. A new item has been dispatched today and they don't require me to send the old one back in this case.

I recently purchased a set of wheels for a project I am working on. Everything seemed fine until I discovered that one of the four wheels was the wrong fitment. After contacting customer service, they admitted that the incorrect wheel had been sent due to a picking error on their side. However, instead of resolving the issue properly, they asked me to return the incorrect wheel at my own expense before they would send the correct one. I explained that I am currently in Bulgaria and that I had already paid for shipping from the UK as well as import taxes. Despite acknowledging that the mistake was entirely theirs, they still refused to cover the return shipping costs. I was even told that the shipping was “too expensive” for them to pay. As a customer, I don’t believe I should have to pay anything to correct a mistake made by the seller. I’ve already paid for the original shipping and import charges, and now I’m being asked to spend even more because of their error. Very disappointing customer service and a complete lack of responsibility for their own mistake. I expected much better from a company with their reputation. An update on the recent experience ………………………………………………………………… After several days of emails and phone calls, the situation only became worse. Although the company admitted that sending the wrong wheel was entirely their mistake, they still required me to pay another £200 upfront before they would send the correct wheel. They told me that once I returned the incorrect wheel, they would refund the £400 I had originally paid for it. However, this meant I had to keep using my own money to fix a problem I did not create. On top of that, I was left covering import duties, shipping costs, and all the inconvenience myself. None of these losses were taken into account or reimbursed. In reality, the company lost nothing. I was the one left out of pocket because of their error, while they continued to shift every cost and every risk onto me. To make matters even worse, the delays caused by this situation meant I missed an important exhibition where I had already paid for a premium central stand. That resulted in a significant financial loss, yet they showed no interest in compensating me or even acknowledging the impact their mistake had caused. What disappointed me most was not the original mistake—mistakes can happen. It was the complete lack of responsibility afterwards. Instead of taking ownership and resolving the issue properly, they transferred all financial risk, delays, and inconvenience onto the customer. The message throughout the entire process was clear: even when the company admits the mistake is theirs, the customer is still expected to pay the price while they avoid any real responsibility for the consequences. This was not just a simple error in order fulfilment. It became a costly, stressful, and entirely one-sided experience where I carried all the burden. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, and I cannot recommend a company that treats its customers in this way. …………………………………………………………………… You state that I accepted your proposed solution. That is only partially true. I accepted it because it was the only option you were willing to offer if I wanted to receive the correct wheel. Had I not accepted your proposal, there would have been no progress at all, and I would have been left with an unusable wheel due to a mistake that your company had already admitted was entirely its own. Accepting the only available solution should not be presented as customer satisfaction or agreement that it was fair. It was simply the only way to move the situation forward. I accepted your proposal out of necessity, not because I believed it was a fair or customer-focused resolution.
