Okay Telegram is a vipers nest.
Okay Telegram may not be willing to do something about the fact that it has now become a vipers nest of scams and harm so the only way we can help others is by posting experiences on to help anyone searching before taking a walk in the vipers ladscape called Telegram. There are many but I am specifically refer to the following channels here: Xm Forex Signals 🇺🇸 (Free), Archie Theodore, Trade With Pat (FRN), and Expert Trader. There and thousands of other ads on telegram proposing high return investments and they are absolute SCAMS. Do not give them a second glance (you can even uninstall Telegram better yet). This is how they operate from the experience of victims. They advertise themselves through comments on Reddit, X and via telegram ads inviting you to invest as little as $200 in Forex investments which they will manage on your behalf and grow it to between 10 to 15 times the investment amount in 4 days or 7 days. They request payments via crypto wallets and post evidence of your payment on their telegram channels thus giving you a false sense of transparency. After the investment period elapses you will be contacted that the investment is ready for payout and you will be asked to pay a fee to get your payout approved. The fee also has to be paid in crypto in advance as they will not accept to deduct the fee and pay the net profit to you. From then onwards, whatever course of action you decide to take, you are not getting a dime from them. If you had such experiences or know someone who did. Please share it everywhere you can so that people who are searching or researching these kinds of investments being advertised by these vipers should have some information about what they may be getting themselves into it they choose to "invest" with these vipers. Some screenshots of profile pages for the channels mentioned here are included here. We should all stay safe as much as we can in the wild wild west of the internet. I have reported these channels on telegram but they are still up and running I am sure due to some economic consideration.

Terrible account recovery and security…
Terrible account recovery and security experience My Telegram account was compromised and the experience of trying to regain control of it was extremely stressful and frustrating. The attacker was able to use my account to send scam messages to my contacts, while I repeatedly found myself locked out. Even though I had two-factor authentication and a recovery email enabled, I could not simply regain control of my own account and terminate the suspicious session. Telegram kept showing messages such as “too many attempts” and eventually told me that I had to wait around 10 hours before I could try to log in again. Meanwhile, the compromised account remained active and continued sending messages in my name. There was no effective emergency option to immediately freeze the account, log out all other devices, or prove that I was the legitimate owner. I contacted Telegram support, but during the critical period I received no practical assistance that could actually stop what was happening. In the end, I literally set an alarm during the night. I woke up at 3:06 AM, managed to get into the account during what seemed to be a very narrow window of opportunity, and immediately deleted my Telegram account completely. I genuinely believe that this may have been my only opportunity to regain control before the attacker could access it again. A messaging service holding years of conversations and contacts needs a much better emergency recovery system. If an account is clearly compromised, the legitimate owner should have a reliable way to freeze it immediately, terminate every active session, and recover access securely. Nobody should have to wake up at three in the morning and race against an attacker just to protect their own account. After this experience, I no longer trust Telegram with my personal communications.

Just a worse version of regular sms/WhatsApp/Messenger, bug with much less privacy, and the app making sure to let everyone know you signed up! Never deleted an app so fast

My account is hacked - and Telegram doesn’t have Security support to do anything
My account was hacked. I lost control of the account, and the hijacker sends phishing messages from my account. I’ve tried to reach telegram tech support and security - no response for days! Seems like the support service is non-existant even for the major security cases. It’s frightening! No way to re-gain control over account. Even no way to de-activate the account. Don’t use! It’s dangerous!
