What the hell is Telkomsel?
I don't know who or what Telkomsel is, but I keep receiving their stoooopid emails to join their AI webinars on ZOOM and it doesn't matter how many times I unsubscribe (I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THEIR CRAP!!!) the emails keep coming! Questions (they say) can be submitted to skaletools(a)gmail.com but it's useless! They are relentless and it's never ending! It's exhausting! I wish there was a way to get rid of these scammers!!!

Very disappointing experience with…Telkomsel Esim Registration Process
Very disappointing experience with Telkomsel Tourist eSIM. We followed all the required steps and successfully installed the eSIM, but the OTP required for registration was never received. We went to the Telkomsel counter at Bali Airport for assistance, but the staff were unable to help with the eSIM registration and simply told us to go to the main office in a mall. For an international tourist arriving in Bali, this is extremely inconvenient. If an eSIM is being sold to tourists, there should be proper support available at the airport to complete the activation and registration process. We ultimately had to consider buying a physical SIM instead, despite already purchasing and installing the eSIM. Very frustrating experience and poor customer support.

OTP not received after multiple attempts
I needed to input an OTP via SMS sent from 3 different financial service providers (Paysera, Wise and Interactive Broker). The OTPs from Wise and Interactive Broker did come, the OTPs from Paysera did not. I tried contacting their CS for help. They asked me to try various things (i.e. turning the airplane mode on and then off, restarting my phone, moving the SIM Card to another phone, etc.), but after multiple attempts none worked. Meanwhile, I kept receiving unwanted ads via SMS.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
They charged me 7000 IDR *4 on July 14th, 2026 and they insisted their system cant locate the issue. To connect to their AGENT took an hour, to get their agent to reply another 30 mins each. And each reply are template, please wait and later they said no issue. Really BAD SERVICE!!!!
