Fabulous hospitality and food and an amazing location. Mr Dimitri and staff gave us a night to remember. Food and drink first class.

Sunsets and a big welcome
The staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious. What a view with dinner! I could watch the sunsets forever. Greek night was spectacular and fun and lovely to see traditional Greek dancing. On Monday the singer was great and we eat drank and sang our way into midnight. A special shout out to the Thalassi cocktail and the medium rose wine. Demetrius is passionate about his food and treats you like family. I love this place.

Staff were lovely
Staff were lovely, but the owner isn’t! He thinks he’s the top dog, but the restaurant he owns where dinners are served is just like old fashioned school dinners, lots of sloppy food, not very interesting and tasteless. The staff are great but the boss thinks he is the greatest, not ever going back to the hotel.

To Demetris, Eva and team, Thank you all so much for making our first mum and daughter holiday, a stress free and memorable experience. You went above and beyond, from Steffi and Anthony, to the lovely cleaning ladies and last but not least the restaurant team. There is only one word to describe our holiday "Perfect!" . Nothing was too much trouble, everyone greeted you with a smile. Then to mention the amazing friends we have made, amazing. The trip with demetris last sunday, is one I will never forget. The beautiful monastery, then on for snacks, coffee and lots of raki! We had only met these people that day or know them a few days but it felt like we were all one big family sat round that table. Thank you so much Demetris! Roll on 2027, when we all plan on returning together! YAMAS!! Many thanks. I also need to mention Paulo, who took us to the restaurant and back each even, nothing was too much trouble. Louise & Ruby xxx

Beautiful view shame about the service.
Beautiful view. Unfortunately greeted by a large surley gentleman. When we asked for water rather than wine or soft drinks his demeanor changed. As the menu said bread was part of the cover you pay for we declined the offer of garlic bread. This seemed to make him cross and he pulled a face. We were left feeling very uncomfortable. We were then asked how we would pay before the food even arrived. (Never asked before here in Crete) Food was average. My husband was the called to the bar to pay and discussed our misgivings with a senior member of staff. As we left the first gentleman was by the door and said goodbye. We said good night and that we would not be returning. He then started to shout at us and say we were rude. He then threatened to call the police! Not at all our experience in any other restaurant in the area. Sad man!
