Warning against shopping with them
I have only shopped here once, and I will never do so again. I have contacted this online store via three emails and the contact form on their website to exercise my right to be forgotten under GDPR, but my inquiries have been ignored. Now I have to go to the trouble of reporting them to the relevant authorities, as they do not operate honestly or respect the privacy of their customers. UPDATE Aug 26, 2026: I have today submitted a formal complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, as The Alchemists Cupboard is not responding to my inquiries or deleting my account and personal data. They are not complying with GDPR requirements.

Remove Me From Your Records
I purchased items maybe ten years ago. Despite numerous attempts to remove myself from their mailing list and two emails asking them to do so under the GDPR right to be forgotten, my requests have been ignored. The latest email today has prompted this review

very, very poor. Couldn't be bothered to put black tape on bottles of concentrate to keep them secure during transit all leaked over the package, and subsequently had to destroy the package. A waste of £32.00

I placed an order for £32 worth of concentrated, but my order was returned by Spanish customs in Madrid. According to Royal Mail tracking, it was delivered back to them on the 17th of November, but they have not even said a word to me about it. I emailed them a couple of times asking if they could confirm it. But I have had no response from them, also I have sent various messages through the contact us page in their website, but no answer either, so thy have kept my money and my merchandise, I have only got one word for this, THEIVES
