From Edinburgh to Loch Ness: An Unforgettable Journey with Tom
An unforgettable Highland adventure with Tom! on August 17th, 2026. I had an amazing one-day tour of the Scottish Highlands with The Hairy Coo, visiting the breathtaking landscapes of Glencoe, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, with Loch Ness boat cruise. A special thank-you goes to our guide Tom, who made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He was funny, friendly, professional and well-behaved, and his stories and sense of humour kept us entertained throughout the journey. He also shared interesting information about Scottish history, culture and the places we visited. I particularly appreciated Tom’s kindness and trust. When I arrived in Loch Ness, he gave me my boat-cruise ticket before I had paid him on my arrival to Edinburgh to withdraw from ATM, which was a very generous and showed his trust and good character. I truly appreciated it. The cruise on Loch Ness and the visit to Urquhart Castle were unforgettable, while the scenery of Glencoe and the Highlands was simply spectacular. Thank you, Tom, for making that trip so special. It was not only a beautiful journey through Scotland, but also a wonderful human experience. I'm Abdelouahed KAAKOUA, a teacher from Morocco.

Storytime with Fraser
I am grateful that i landed on Fraser's tour bus. He guided us on a very personal, introspective and immersive experience for us all. What a legendary human. His passion for his culture, his curation of stories and places with Game of Thrones level drama, and his terrible dad jokes, remind us of the importance of history when we reflect on our world now. When I travel, I like to try and be immersed in a culture. It's hard when so many places to get to quickly are full of tourists. I thought I knew a fair bit about Scotland and I still learned so much from him. For me, Culloden was the highlight. I appreciate the way he tells this story as a way of reflecting on how we interact with other people we love. A great holiday should give you ideas. I will be thinking deeply about this for a while. Although there was not a lot of time ay the stops, the amount of ground we covered looking back over the three days was crazy. What an incredible place the highlands are. What a breathtakingly beautiful place. Cons: No wifi (understandable once you realise how remote things are) Not much time to stop for food or water so you have to be prepared Pros: Fraser is an incredible story teller He knows how to weild a bus! You get more places and experiences than most tours The focus on history gives you a deep sense of the Scottish highlanders and outlanders that have interacted with the landscape Patting hairy Coos Glencoe - everything about it Skye is a one of a kind place Seats are comfy Charging by USB available Secure transactions You can listen or tune out Great food and drink recommendations Some spots i had never heard of before The folk museum is incredibly valuable to understand ways of life through history. Could have done with more time here. Thank you Fraser. I look forward to a podcast or something hearing your stories in the future. Or I will just do another tour!

Peter is awesome
Peter is awesome. He was funny throughout the trip and told us lots of interesting stories. The trip itself was seamless, covering really beautiful Scotland. Highly recommended.
