Was taken ill with a water infection the day before the event I got insurance for. Have not proceeded with the claim as it needs medical proof) doctor certification etc). It being a Friday its impossible to get a doctor appointment. Therefore no proof of illness so no claim

We always add ticket plan to our bookings but this is the first time we have had to actually use them. They could not have been kinder or made the process any easier and refund was dealt with efficiently. Thank you

Basically I should have read the Tc&Cs and reviews before purchasing this insurance. I've made them aware of a severe chest infection and sent them a screenshot of the messages from my doctor regarding my exacerbated asthma as a consequence of my hospitalisation but they want a ridiculous level of confirmation and doctor or hospital records/forms. I'm not bothering the Doctor or Hospital with this as they have more important things to do and they can keep the money. It's easier for me to just add to these reviews on to avoid using this business and hopefully it will help others save themselves the hassle. I certainly won't be using you again.

We purchased tickets for a show for 27th June and purchased this plan in case of emergency. The heatwave kicked in the week of the show and the red weather warnings were issued for the 25th and 26th with the potential to be extended into the 27th. As we have a 12 yr old and 5yr old, on the 25th June we decided that the safest option would be to not travel and put them at risk so I applied for a refund using this plan on the basis that this was an unexpected event. I thought that by giving notice that we would be covered and that they could resell our tickets. We did not get a response straight away and on the 27th June, the weather warning was reduced to amber. On the basis we had enacted the plan and were still be advised to only travel if needed as the trains were limited service and would be crowded, we chose not to attend. We then received a response to say that as we knew about the situation, we were not covered and we would not be refunded. We have argued this but still been told no. I am so disappointed as we wanted to rebook but at a loss of over £200 we are unable to do so and utterly disgusted by the response we've received. What is the point of insurance if you can't claim it in the event.of an unexpected situation such as this?!

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
