Paul and thanks for your order
Whilst it is very early days I thought I would senf my initial feedback I also note the reviews on the Hune site are all posted on the same day? Beware, even before giving the band its 5 day aclimatise period, its a hard sell to gvbet you to upgrade to the scales or the plus version. Even before using it properly. It says you can enter your food via a simple photo, but after going trough about 10 pages, you find you have to ''upgrade'' to plus. Also, and worryingly for me. I have no done 2 weightraining sessions. Whilst it logs squats and bench presses as workout time, hammer curls, dumbell curls, crunches, side bends, calf raises and tricep extensions all are logged as rest time. How can this be right. If it cannot get this corret then how on earth does it caclulate you calorie burn and the basics correctly. As well, you need a degree to fiind out where you alter your weight, surely a basic piece of info should be wasy to find? Not impressed so far and I think I will return it unless the next week or so shows a massive improvement.

Upon first use I was so impressed with the results, so much so that I questioned the accuracy. The very next day the results were wildly different, huge increases in everything within a few hours. The only accurate part is the weight scale, that is consistent. Very disappointing and not worth the money at all, the ads are deceptive with pricing and needing subscriptions for almost everything, pretty crappy. I don’t believe this product ever sells for the $460 they claim. Overpriced bathroom scale and a scam

I have been actively using the Hume Body Pod for daily measurements for about 6 months now. I began to become suspicious when I would get 3-5 pound fluctuations from day to day and the Lean Muscle Mass(LMM) and Fat Mass calculations would never reconcile. My program was producing results, but they were not showing up on the Hume scale or app data. In the first 90 days of my program, I lost 35 pounds. The Hume scale indicated that 1 pound of that was LMM and that 4 pounds of that was Fat Mass, the balance was in a data "dead zone." In frustration, I triangulated with the Navy Method, Caliper measurements, and a Dexa scan. The results from the other methods showed that the Hume underreported LMM by 15 pounds (12%) and overreported Fat Mass by 18 pounds. When all the data measurement methods were sorted the actual fat loss of the 35 pounds was closer to 26 pounds - NOT 4. This lined up with the significant loss in overall inches and dropping three pant sizes. This wild discrepancy in LMM creates medical risk for people who rely on this data to manage medications and protein intake targets. This product is dangerously inaccurate. Don't waste your money!

Total waste of money. First they charge you a lot for a marginal scale. Then when you get it they upsell you for a plan which you shouldn't need with how much she paid for the scale. Then the app stops working after a short period of time. I have a very expensive paperweight

I am sorry to say but this is probably the worse product I have ever purchased, I wasn't severely overweight but I was conscience I need to lose 20lbs. I had a set of Eufy scales and wasn't sure how accurate they were. Saw an advert for Hume Health Body Pod which were in a sale at £134, I took a gamble but when then credit card cleared it was £179, stupidly I should have challenged it then but they were delivered a few day later and off I went. I really only used them for weight and body fat measurements. I did take note of some of the other numbers for a while, but like the majority I guess, I ignored these after a few weeks. Having lost around 15lbs due to strict low calorie, high protein diet and 3 days a week in the gym to avoid losing muscle, I noticed that the body fat measurements were increasing. I ask ChatGPT, which suggested I ignore the scales and go by a tape measure around various parts to see if there was any notable reduction and yes there was even though body fat on the Body Pod kept going up. Then there's the weight, the scales told me I lost 5lbs in one day, which I was surprised about but delighted, it stayed there for two days and then jumped up 8lbs. I went back to the Eufy scales and imagine my surprise when this number was 6lbs less. To conclude, as other reviews have said, you will really struggle to get a refund, you will get a response with some obvious suggestions on how to weigh yourself. From my experience DO NOT waste your money. There are some very good scales which measure weight and body fat for less the £50. Please steer clear of Hume Health.
