Ultra Annual Plan Is Extremely Misleading

I paid for the annual Ultra subscription specifically because it advertises unlimited Seedance video generation. Unfortunately, the reality is very different from what I expected. The generation queue can take more than 6 hours, and the only way to skip the queue is to spend additional credits. In practice, this means that despite paying for an expensive annual “unlimited” plan, I can sometimes generate only one 30-second video per day unless I pay even more for credits. This completely defeats the purpose of subscribing to the Ultra plan. I chose this plan because I wanted to create and iterate on videos without constantly worrying about credits or additional costs. I find the way this is presented extremely misleading. If “unlimited” generations come with waiting times of 6+ hours unless you pay extra, this limitation should be made very clear before purchasing the annual subscription. At the moment, I deeply regret paying for the annual Ultra plan.

Unlimited Mode means you can generate without consuming Credits, but it does not guarantee an immediate or fixed generation time. Unlimited tasks are processed through the Unlimited queue, and waiting times can increase significantly when demand is high, particularly after a new model launch. The purpose of Credit Mode is to provide a higher-priority option when you need faster and more predictable generation. You are not required to purchase additional Credits to use Unlimited, but if you need to produce multiple videos within a specific timeframe, Credit Mode can help avoid the longer Unlimited queue. We’re actively adding more resources to improve Unlimited generation capacity and reduce waiting times. However, I don’t want to give you an unrealistic promise about when the queue will return to normal. Powerful tool for AI filmmaking

I made a 30-second dark cinematic short with Topview and Seedance 2.5 for their 30s Challenge — a werewolf transformation, a battle against a skeleton horde, and a zombie T-Rex, all from one detailed prompt. I was genuinely surprised how well the engine held multi-shot flow, the transformation morph, and color consistency across the whole clip. Once you learn to structure prompts properly, the control is excellent, and the video modes (Sequel, Prequel, Edit) make refining specific shots easy. Support was also fast and helpful when I had a question about my submission. A powerful tool for AI filmmaking — highly recommend for dark/cinematic work.

TopView AI Review — 4/5 ★★★★☆ 4/5 I’ve actually been pretty happy with TopView AI overall. I’ve tried quite a few AI video platforms, and this is one of the few I keep coming back to. First off, their customer service has been great. Anytime I’ve had an issue or needed help with something, I’ve gotten a useful response instead of being bounced around or ignored. That’s a bigger deal than it sounds, because support with a lot of AI sites can be pretty rough. The moderation is another reason I like it. I make a lot of fantasy and horror stuff, and TopView generally doesn’t freak out over every little thing. Even when I’m working with darker horror ideas or more adult-oriented fantasy material, most of my prompts go through without me having to rewrite them five different ways. That alone makes it a lot less frustrating to use. Generation quality has also been solid, especially with models like Seedance. When a video comes out right, it can look really good. My main complaint and honestly the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the Unlimited queue. It can get really slow. I’ve had generations sit there for hours, and if you’re trying to make a bunch of videos in one day, that gets old fast. The Unlimited plan sounds great on paper, but the queue can make it hard to take advantage of it when things are busy. That’s really the one thing I’d like to see TopView fix. If they can speed up the Unlimited queue or add more capacity, I’d have very few complaints. What I like: Customer service has been excellent. Moderation is much less annoying than on a lot of other platforms. Fantasy, horror, and more mature creative ideas usually get through without constant false positives. Seedance and the other video models can produce some really impressive results. The site itself is pretty straightforward to use. What I don’t like: The Unlimited queue can be painfully slow, especially when demand is high. So for me, TopView gets a 4/5. It’s a really good platform with strong models, helpful support, and moderation that gives creators a lot more breathing room. Fix the queue times and I’d probably bump it up to 5 stars.
