Outstanding safari in Botswana
We had a truly amazing safari in Botswana, faultlessly organised by Tribes. Chris responded quickly to our initial contact. She listened carefully to our vaguely-formed thoughts about safari and our various concerns. Chris proposed a programme that matched our dates and budget and which offered the possibility of both adventure and then some luxury. The information on Vamoos was detailed and helpful. In practise, the safari was an even richer experience than we had expected. 8 nights on a mobile tented safari in the Okavango Delta - a truly immersive experience - and 2 nights in a beautiful lodge on the Chobe River with more fabulous wildlife. We finished with 2 nights in Victoria Falls. Throughout the process Chris offered helpful advice, drawing on expert knowledge and recent experience. The administration behind the scenes was excellent and every step of our journey worked precisely. Big thanks to Chris and to all the team at Tribes.

Perfect Safari Trip!
Chris was so helpful in the planning and organised the most memorable trip to Kenya we could've asked for. Everything was planned perfectly and accommodation exceeded our expectations! We would strongly recommend anyone to use Tribes and in particular Chris if you are planning a trip, they are so friendly and knowledgeable and very well organised!

A wonderful Costa Rica adventure with Tribes
Our two-week holiday to Costa Rica, organised by Tribes, exceeded our expectations. From our arrival in San José until our departure, every transfer, guide and excursion ran seamlessly. The local Swiss Travel team were outstanding, and every driver and guide was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual, allowing us simply to relax and enjoy the experience. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and gave us a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica's incredible diversity. Highlights included the Hanging Bridges at Arenal, the Curi-Cancha Reserve in Monteverde, the boat journey through the mangroves, and our stay at the beautiful Aguila de Osa on the Osa Peninsula. Wildlife sightings were unforgettable, including spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, crocodiles, coatis, tapirs, hummingbirds and toucans. May proved an excellent time to visit, with relatively few tourists, lush scenery and generally favourable weather. Costa Rica itself is a magical country whose people are warm, welcoming and clearly proud of their remarkable natural environment. No holiday is absolutely perfect and, with hindsight, we might have chosen slightly different hotels in one or two locations. However, these were minor points in what was an exceptionally enjoyable trip. Throughout the planning process Tribes were a pleasure to deal with. Emails were answered promptly, advice was excellent and the arrangements inspired complete confidence. We would have no hesitation in recommending both Costa Rica as a destination and Tribes as a specialist tour operator.

Tribes Costa Rica adventure - amazing trip and fantastic organisation from all concerned
Our first trip to Costa Rica went without a hitch from our first contact with Andrew Chaundler at Tribes, through all the hotels, transfers. flights etc. We've never done a package like this where all aspects of the trip were sorted out for us, so it was a surprise and a great joy that everything worked seamlessly, no issues, no hitches, no worrying about where we should be when. It all just happened. Amazing work by all concerned and would definitely recommend Tribes to friends and family.

A great safari holiday in Zambia - thank you Tribes
At every stage - initial discussion, planning, preparation and execution - Tribes has been a fantastic support. Chris and the Tribes team could not have been more helpful and she was especially reassuring as we worried about the potential problems of an Emirates flight through Dubai during the US/Iran war. Our itinerary, designed by Chris, included a night in hotels at the start and end and three absolutely superb safari camps with excellent guides, superb staff, wonderful food and full attention to safety. This was our first safari and Chris could not have organised a better programme for us, with the information on Vamoos extremely helpful in taking the right clothes and equipment with us. Thank you so much, Tribes.
