Not sure why so many positive reviews
Not sure why so many positive reviews, they must be fake. The platform itself is so difficult to use, very bad UI/UX. Don't even know what to click, where to click. Like where is the send button, receive button and so on. This is the worst design ever, I wasted so much time just to look for some buttons.

Uphold is the worst
Uphold has some of the worst communication I’ve experienced from a financial company. They would benefit their customers greatly by giving clear and direct information. For example, PayPal might tell you your account is closed and your funds will be available after 180 days. You know where you stand and what timeline to expect. With Uphold, you are left waiting with vague explanations. I was told they needed to confirm and verify the source of funds before releasing them. That sounds like a straightforward issue that should have a clear process and proper updates and be solved within a week at most, yet 2 months later I was still waiting without a meaningful timeline. Clear communication and realistic timelines would make a huge difference.

I have over $5,000 of USDC locked away…
I have over $5,000 of USDC locked away on this app. For no reason at all saying it’s a yearly routine. Can’t withdraw it to a wallet or bank. They are quite literally scamming people out of there money. I haven’t had a single response to my ticket for support My ticket numbers are #7249887. Please escalate this to your compliance team immediately so I can regain access to my assets. If I do not receive a human response within 24 hours, I will be forced to file a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and my state financial regulator for withholding my funds. Thank you."

Have made upwards of 1000 crypto…
Have made upwards of 1000 crypto purchases. always purchase and immediately withdraw to my private wallet, the same one every time. Purchase with the same debit card every single time. Last transaction failed after a few days, and they ignore or AUTOMATICALLY MARK RESOLVED every single support ticket. Finally i get one response ignoring most of my questions other than stating it is typically due to a new address for withdrawal, an out of normal amount, or a new bank. Not one of these is applicable. it was as normal as any other tranaction. Ive been a customer that has paid tens of thousands in fees to you, and i cannot even get a response? in what industry or what reputable business handles business like this? imagine walking into your bank, being told your money is being investigated and you cant have it, AND THEN BEING IGNORED WHEN YOU HAVE QUESTIONS???!!!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Communication is extremely poor, and getting a clear answer from support feels impossible. You’re left waiting without proper updates or explanations, even when dealing with important account and financial issues. The whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
