Hi I’m a Gas safe registered engineer…
Hi I’m a Gas safe registered engineer and I really like installing veissmann boilers I think the boilers are really good and well made, I always recommend these to my customers recently contacted technical for some advise spoke with a guy called Chris he gave me the worst experience ever he’s just so unhelpful has no manners how to speak his customer service is absolutely appalling he needs serious training. Veissmann would be so much better without this guy

Like other people
Like other people, threatened with £150 call out charge, can't tell you when they will come out , try to evade responsibility by blaming gas safe engineers not doing their job. I will also, like another reviewer go elsewhere for help, 10 year guarantee? Not on their watch.

A Veissman 300V indirect water heater…
A Veissman 300V indirect water heater was missintalled. The unit malfunctioned repeatedly and was even replaced once under warranty. Recently it began to expel 40+ gallons of scalding water into the basement every 2-3 days. After multiple failed attempts by local HVAC technicians - who are also at fault - a Viessman tech confirmed that this tank is incompatible with the steam heating system and should have never been installed. Because they sold the unit to a wholesaler, they are unable to help. I asked that they contact the plumber and at least let them know that they are misusing their product. They have been unhelpful. This has been an extremely expensive headache. Major disappointment.

A GUARANTEE IS WORTHLESS
The boiler was installed in 2023 and regularly serviced. It has broken down 3 times in 3 years, and now Veissmann says my 7-year guarantee is invalid because it hasn't been serviced! Wait times for an engineer are 7+, days. They are understaffed and look for an excuse to get out of their guarantee/or make you pay for their engineer. Out of necessity, I'm paying my own plumber for repairs and am considering changing the boiler. This has been a nightmare, and I would NOT recommend this company under any circumstances.

Veissmann boiler
We have had our Veissmann boiler for just under 3 years and the pump has already broken and a valve. The plumber who fitted our boiler gave us the wrong model number so unknown to us the boiler is not under warranty. Our local Veissmann rep has been very unhelpful and will not honour any warranty, despite it not being our error. Poor customer service and very disappointed to have issues so soon with a boiler that is meant to be amazing. Would not reccommend.
