Beware of automatic renewal practices

This vendor set up an account with my email and signed me up for automatic annual renewal. When the time for renewal came, they sent me their advance notice at a different email, and I was neither able to reply to their notice, nor figure out why I was not able to cancel. By the time I did, I had been charged the renewal fee, and they refused to acknowledge that they had sent their notice to the wrong address. Their product is good, but as a customer, I feel I have been treated abusively. Update Wondershare just asked to contact support and provide order #, as well as email listed in my account. I did, but I will be amazed if they do anything. For the time being, I see no reason to change my review. Just in case, my order number was B93J423291G7344209

UniConverter Is An Online Product - Its A Trial Version When Logged Out

Wondershare's UniConverter version 17, is an online product, if you untether the product, by logging out of your Wondershare account, the product will only function as a trial version. If you don't like your activities being monitored, then this is probably not the product for you. If you're expecting a product that has good support service, then again this is probably not the product for you. I'll be blogging my support experience within the week. I can say that today I logged in at 9:14 am, and completed the support chat at 14:11 pm (five hours) without any satisfaction. And if you don't like repeating yourself over and over and over, and then over some more, when talking to support, then again Wondershare products are probably not the products for you. I highly recommend 4K Video Downloader, as a great alternative to Wondershare UniConverter, It works as fully functional without having to stay logged in to 4K Account. Speedwise, It far superior to UniConverter. If you wondering. I've been a loyal user of Wondershare products for about a decade. I didn't want to change, they forced the change. They've refused a refund and refused to exchange it to and earlier version that does not require to be tethered to be fully functional.

Wondershare Software Issue Resolved!

I've recently worked with Shena via email support for an issue with my Wondershare Uniconverter software, and she did a great job to help me resolve my problem. I have worked in various Technology Support positions for over 25 years, and although it's quite rare to receive good customer service these days, Shena was extremely helpful, with a great attitude towards resolving the issue to completion. Wondershare is very lucky to have her on their team!

The software failed to convert

The software failed to convert my video. I requested a refund within the time frame and was promised that my refund would be in my bank within 7 to 15 days but I have not received it. I have contacted Wondershare with no success. I tried converting a video from .mkv to .mp4, after 4 hours nothing had happened. I contacted you to ask for a refund because I was unhappy with the software, and was told that I would receive a refund within 7 to 15 days but that has not happened. I have contacted my bank to stop any further payments being taken by you. I have uninstalled uniconverter completely. I am now using a 'free' software called Prism, it works perfectly. When I go into my account with you to try and resolve this issue, I am constantly shown a button to 'upgrade' I am not prepared to pay more money. Regards David Goodwin.
