Important facts about AI for musicians
I’m a customer on the $39/month plan and have been using VidMuse.ai for about four months. I’m not going to give it a one-star rating, as there are some redeeming qualities. However, as a musician, I’d like to point out a few issues that are particularly relevant to this field: 1. The process is excessively slow. I’ve literally been waiting 12 hours for a 32-second project to finish. 2. The interactive system often fails to correctly “understand” what you’re asking for, despite the detailed information provided. You’re led to believe that, for example, 2,450 credits will be enough. However, when the result isn’t what you expected, the agent offers to make corrections using other options—but doing so requires additional credits, which run out far too quickly. 3. In my case, the lip-syncing for a short verse performed by a four-member vocal group (barely four lines) never turned out correctly, even after trying about 10 different approaches, both with the group and with individual members. Eventually, the agent apologized and acknowledged that they didn’t have the tools to fix the issue. 4. I was never able to download the final video generated by the system. It looked fine when played on their site, but after five or six attempts, the downloaded file was always corrupted, allowing me to view only the opening scene. There may be more to say, but based on my experience, this application is definitely not suitable for creating music videos, even at an amateur level.

Bad company, avoid, its nothing free Edit: You go through the whole time consuming process creating your first video using "free" credit, only for it to stop before last step requiring you to pay for a subscription to finalise the video. Feels like they bait you into a situation we're your you have built up an expectation of a great video and you either have to abort or pay without knowing if you will be satisfied with the results.

Antes daban 500 créditos para los que apenas entran al sitio pero ahora solo dan 100 créditos ni alcanza para hacer algo porque el sitio siempre presenta errores como en los modelos que no son y muy estáticos o se deforman y más que ni cumple con la generación después de una descripción detallado en el prompt muy mal ya quedó el sitio tan bien que estaba y mucho que fue de los mejores y ahora con esos paquetes super caros son peores que ni soporte responde una vez mandado mensaje en Discord de Vidmuse ai ninguno responde

I paid for subscription got 3000 and it still was not enough
UPDATE: 21/08/26 - The platform continues to go downhill. Its now blocking any edits with an account block. Please do not use this site it is an absolute scam and if it ever works its full of bugs and credit eating errors. There is a reason why this site has over 65% 1 star AVOID at all costs you will lose money time and effort. I paid for subscription got 3000 credits. I initially started with a free 1000 credits. I uploaded a song and pictures of the artists. The original creation took 4000 credits before i was presented with an actual video. I then purchased an additonal 2400 credits . Most of this was spent correcting software bugs/errors that was created by the application and not my work. Each time an error was corrected it then created seperate errors and so and so on. I started to realise at this point that this was deliberate money drain on credits. Eventually Ai itself told me to make a complaint for credit reimbursemnets . I did this as the video was out of sync with singers and errors continued to self generate . Support gave back a dreadful 1000 credits but not accepting liability nor that the software itself was the issue. So my advice is avoid this platform. Plenty of others that seem more capable and more error free . Dont waste time and money here unless you planned for a few £00s without little prospect of success

Vidmuse has some great features
Vidmuse has some great features, but ngl the credit consumption is a real concern. Buy yeah that credits are tied to video length, so longer projects equals to way more credits used up. The more details you give it (extra photos, music, specific instructions for stuff like lip-syncing), the better your results are gonna be. Also love that you can review the creative direction and cancel before any credits get used, saves you from wasting credits on something that's not gonna work anyway. Check out the main page too, it's got a bunch of high-quality finished videos, so you can see it's totally possible to get significant results if you do it right. I think If something's not working, don't just keep hammering away at the same fix. The AI can kinda fatigue or start hallucinating if you retry the same thing over and over, the hallucinations seem to get worse when the chat/text itself gets super long too, better to step back, rethink your prompt, and try a cleaner approach. Writing clear, specific prompts really makes or breaks the output.
