Vitamix refused to send me the tiny broken exterior part to fix my blender
I purchased a Vitamix blender approximately two years ago and it recently broke. I contacted Vitamix about sending me a part to fix it, but they refused. Instead, they wanted me to package the base unit and mail it to them for a repair that I did myself in 30 seconds. I use the blender almost every day and couldn't justify mailing it to Vitamix and then waiting for it to be returned. Instead, I decided to buy the OEM part from another supplier. I even called Vitamix so they could help me understand why they couldn't send me a replacement part and was told they would not do that while the warranty was still in effect. But after the warranty expired they would be glad to charge me for the part and send it to me to fix the blender. Incidentally, to repair the blender, I did NOT need to dismantle anything. I put the new part on the top of the base unit and tightened it with an allen wrench. Thirty seconds is all it took. That does NOT justify

I bought the pro 750....what I thought…
I bought the pro 750....what I thought was a high end stainless steel machine. It wasn't stainless steel. It was a defective laminate of some sort that rusts. Vitamix refused to take responsibility for it so now I have a $500 piece of rusty garbage on my counter.....

Horrible piece of garbage
Horrible piece of garbage, container got cloudy in about 2 month. Customer service is totally useless, they would give you more reasons not to use it or what not to use inside a container. Had competitor brand for years, never had a same issue with container. and I paid a fraction of a price that I paid for Vitamix.

Do not buy directly from Vitamix
Bought a vitamix 16 years ago from QVC, never had a problem with it. Decided to buy a second one for our RV recently directly from Vitamix. It’s maybe 6 months old, died on us, had to send it in for repair, it came back sounding horrible and we smell burning rubber when we use it, and Vitamix will do nothing about it. I am writing this to tell people to buy their Vitamix from Costco or a store that will replace it while under warranty. Will never buy directly from Vitamix again. Our old Vitamix is heavy, this new one is very light, like many products these days, it’s just not made to last.

My Vitamix blender
My Vitamix blender, while sturdy (has survived multiple moves, being dropped (on the floor, on toes, etc)), tends to result in chunkier smoothies than I prefer, no matter how long I blend it or at what speed!
