These folks are not trustworthy, at all. Do not trust them with your data and do not trust them with your security. I speak from experience. These folks have poor business practices. Why else would they have 1.2 rating on ? Look elsewhere. ---------------- Since the VPN Secure Team Replied, I'll let everyone know here that they are fully aware of my issue, I gave them an ample chance to fix it. I also let them know that I was going to complain to a tech reviewer with a lot of followers. VPN Secure, instead of addressing the problem send me a snarky email that read "More free advertising? Thank you." -------- Thanks for admitting in your reply that you make jokes about user problems, rather than solving them. On brand for you! I can explain it in detail. You told users that when you purchased the company (an asset sale) you told longtime users: "To continue providing a secure and high-quality experience for all users, Lifetime Deal accounts have now been deactivated as of April 28th, 2025." PCWorld wrote that "the owners claimed that they didn't know about the lifetime subscriptions when they first bought VPNSecure," So, this completes the picture. Due diligence is performed when purchasing a a company. All the company records were available to you. Somehow, you either lied to your users, OR you failed to notice that lifetime memberships were part of the company. So, we can only conclude that you were incompetent during due diligence, OR you lied. Either one is a good reason not to trust your company. Do we want to trust our data that does a poor job on the details, and misses the fact that there were thousands of people that paid for a lifetime membership? So, which was it? You did a poor job doing due diligence (or you got 'tricked') or you lied? See the issue? Either is a bad sign. You're getting an excellent Streisand effect each time you reply. === So, why not let us know then. Did you do a poor job at due diligence (and thus didn't know) or did the seller bamboozle you? Or did you fib about not knowing? My main point is, any of those should disqualify you from doing business in a space where trust and competence is paramount. If there is a 4th possible explanation, you could let us know that too!

Terrible product, slows your internet down so bad. Support is a joke. They treat customer like crap, felt like I was dealing with 3 teenagers in their mom's closet. They love to tell you they are in the Bahama's now, very rude. I am guessing they will be short lived or have to change their name

I purchased a lifetime subscription years ago. And used it sparingly when using my accounts overseas to watch my paid subscriptions. Now in 2026, I logged in, expecting my paid account, and log in successfully. But am getting a no authorization when connecting. Only to see that my account on the site shows no active sub. And online details show the company decided to cancel all lifetime accounts. That is ridiculous and anti trust. This needs to be resolved. Otherwise there needs to be a class action against these big tech giants who take your money, promise a service then take it away. So give me my money back.

This was already the slowest and poorest VPN, but the new company decided to enter into very dodgy territory. They chose to cancel subscription plans they didn't like, from their side without offering any form of compensation (other than some "new good deals" which they will probably cancel just as well if they decide they do not like it)- they are looking for ways in grey legal area to maximise profit while utterly neglecting consumers because and in their own words "that’s literally what the legal structure allows." This is by far the saddest excuse I have ever heard in my life, no form of empathy or responsibility to be expected from this company.

Avoid! A Shoddy company now. I am another lifetime subscriber with VPNSecure.me, who finds his VPN service discontinued with the excuse it was bought so won't honor it. I wonder if there will be a class action at some point.....
