Just sad
Overall the game does have a lot of vehicles like advertised, but the overall grind to get there is a pain. I've been playing for 4 years and still haven't gotten to 10.0 (not even considered top tier anymore [to be fair I did switch nations half way through but still, 2 years in and not reaching top tier]). The game overall has amazing potential but the management is horrible, the game has slowly becoming less optimized which is fine as all games do slowly get harder to optimize but this is at very fast rate because I used to be playing 150 fps on ULQ@1080p now at 50 fps (unstable) @1080p. Every update doesn't really add anything of interest anymore and if there is, it's probably an overpowered premium. The balancing in this game is horrible, the prices on the premiums are absurd, the grind is way too long, and the updates recently is slowly getting less memorable because it's been slop, more of the same vehicles with minor if any changes at all, all the unique stuff is slowly getting placed behind a paywall. So as an individual with over 3000 hours, you may play it, but do not expect to reach higher tiers any time soon without spending 80 dollars on a premium vehicle.

War thunder USED to be great, now Map restrictions, RnG Manipulation Gameplay Manipulation Bias - Manipulated Match Making (Forcing the in / loss) Sooooo much more, honestly, been playing over 12 years and Ive never seen so much manipulated game play EVER! You will only win when the game allows it. Days are either Win/Lose or just plain retarded.! Its cheats you into playing, YES it is addictive but - IF you play for a couple of hours you will see when the game suddenly swings the bias in or against you! I hate the Devs for this nonsense, OH and the MODS well, they can take a flying fudge for all I care as they will remove or ban anyone that has a difference of opinion. PROVEN history of matches, proven bias and manipulation yet Nothing you can do about it.! CONTROLLED AND FAKE! No wonder this game has a 1.4star rating, they don't listen and clearly don't care.! DONT buy anything, premiums will NOT make you win, Premium subscription doesn't make any odds.!

Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. Developers don't care about their consumers. The game is in a alpha stade since it was released. Full of bugs, some never been fixed. Constant change of the stats of vehicles, even if they are premium, so bought for real money.

This game is a total waste of time and no fun
Warthunder is fun in lower Battleratings up to 3 or 4, but when ist comes to 5 or 6, the frustration starts. Each match is Uptier, this means you are facing opponents way above you. This means you getting obliterated in no time. There is an occasion that matches are equal, but this rare. Another problem is the so called Grind: You have to invest research points after each match, but in higher Battleratings you need an absurd amount of points, so this game is free to play but you can spend real money to progress. I was dumb enough to pay them around 200 quid at the very beginning, but now I am playing only once or twice a week, and they will not get a penny again from me, as there are computer games where you feel that you spent your time with more fun. My conclusion: Avoid!
