⭐ 1 STAR — TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH WEST COAST SHIPPING I am extremely disappointed with my experience with West Coast Shipping. What was supposed to be a professional international vehicle shipment turned into a stressful and frustrating situation. Our vehicle arrived in Europe approximately 2–3 months later than expected, which was already a major problem. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse when we discovered that the vehicle had been damaged during the handling/unloading process. We paid for a full 20-foot container specifically for our shipment, so I cannot understand why the vehicle was handled in a way that left almost no room around it. The car was lifted and positioned with extremely limited clearance, with moving boxes underneath it and a metal support/post underneath or against the vehicle. The way the vehicle was handled resulted in damage. What is particularly frustrating is our communication with Alex, the main person responsible for dealing with us. I personally tried to get an explanation and a reasonable solution. When we were able to speak with Alex, instead of taking the time to help resolve the situation, he repeatedly shifted responsibility to the people who unloaded the vehicle. But ultimately, we hired and paid West Coast Shipping to handle our vehicle. We should not have to figure out which person or subcontractor caused the damage after the fact. We also had insurance for the shipment, and we have never demanded anything unreasonable. We simply wanted the company to take the situation seriously, help us with the claim, and provide a reasonable solution so the vehicle could be repaired. Instead, after our initial conversations, getting hold of Alex became almost impossible. Every time we contacted the company, we were told that he was on vacation, in a meeting, out of the office, or unavailable. This is incredibly frustrating. Anyone can make a mistake, but a reputable company should stand behind its service and help its customer when something goes wrong. We paid for a dedicated container, paid for professional international shipping, and paid for insurance. We expected the vehicle to arrive safely and within the agreed timeframe. Instead, it arrived months late, damaged, and we have been left trying to get someone to actually take responsibility and help resolve the problem. The damage itself is disappointing, but the lack of communication and accountability afterward is what has made this experience so unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering West Coast Shipping to ask very detailed questions about how their vehicle will be loaded, secured, lifted, and protected — and exactly what happens if the vehicle is damaged. Based on our experience, I would not use West Coast Shipping again.

Car import to Australia
I had to import a car from New York to Australia. West Coast Shipping was recommended, and they absolutely lived up to that recommendation, and exceeded it! Monica and Breanne were excellent, and made the whole process trouble free and seamless. Everything was under control from the start, and they were great people to deal with. These folks (CA facility) provided a very poorly constructed crate (yet expensive) and will not own up to the severe damage caused to the collectable vehicle they were hired to protect. I am so disappointed in their immediate culture of blaming others for their mistake. Beware of #westcoastshipping

We shipped our 2 Teslas
We shipped our 2 Teslas from Fort Lauderdale to France and after months of researching the best way to do it we settled with WCS. We dealt with Monica Mena and she was extremely helpful with the whole process. She allowed us to load up the cars with our personal belongings, which saved us a lot of money. The cars sat a month in WCS warehouse at our request due to import tax constraint and they had no issues with it. We disabled the cars by unplugging both LV and HV batteries and we walked away. They loaded a shared container and the cars were on their way. The only downside was that the ship selected for our container took a journey of 45 days before it got to destination. The French import team led by Perrine was also instrumental in clearing customs for us and delivering the cars to our house. We are really pleased with how much we paid and the fact that nothing was damaged. It took 3 months to get our cars but it is still a really good deal.
