The homepage I don’t really like it
The homepage I don’t really like it, I prefer the one of Alipay but for everything else WeChat wins on everything, the payments are smoother and faster, the translation translates everything fast and correctly, the mobile apps seems smoother and works better ( like the memorial bikes app works super fine on WeChat pay but on Alipay it bugs and doesn’t unlock the bike some times ) The tiktok / douyun side with the videos seems too much or a bit useless for an app that was starts as messaging and payments app

I’ve had a good time using WeChat as it allows me to connect with my friends better. My online friends somehow use WeChat as the platform to message me. Within my accessibility to download this platform, it hones my experience to get to know them better. The video calls, messages, and emojis feature, it incredibly made my experience much more fun!

This weechat company are fraudsters platform. They work together with mobile network companies. An example is three network, they put subscription up on your phone and the mobile network approve it for payment. It is disgraceful and evil.

Absolutely one of the worst chat apps…
Absolutely one of the worst chat apps to exist. It's only reason for success is purely because it was one of the first movers in China and relied heavily on government backing later to go international. For example, it's 2026 now and wechat still crashes with every update. It corrupts your saved chats even on MINOR version updates. It corrupts your saved media the same way. Yet, this is the main app used by businesses for almost everything. Furthermore, Wechat itself does NOT respect user settings. I've clearly TURNED OFF auto-updates and yet it still forces updates on me. There's also issues with chat syncs and payment methods lagging at the worst possible time. Even Apple Pay and Apple Wallet are fully capable of offline payments! I can go on for a long long time, but safe to say I'm baffled the entire china population
