SCAMMERS! Ignoring account closure requests! Funds held for 2 months. 15M+ YouTuber involved.
I am deeply concerned by the illegal and scandalous behavior of Wirex UK. My account has been restricted for over two months now (Ticket ID: 6364612) after a routine and fully legitimate transfer between my own personal bank accounts. I have fully cooperated and provided all requested KYC/Verification documents. Since they refused to unfreeze my profile, I have repeatedly requested the immediate closure of my account and the return of my funds to the originating bank account. Wirex has deliberately ignored every single one of my emails, official closure requests, and communication attempts. They are simply keeping my private money without any legal basis. Because of this shocking negligence, I am escalating this case to the UK Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Furthermore, I have already handed over the complete timeline, email logs, and evidence to a very famous tech YouTuber with over 15 million subscribers. They are currently producing an official investigative video exposing how Wirex systematically freezes user accounts and ignores customer funds. If my funds are not returned immediately to my original bank account, this evidence will be fully broadcasted to millions of viewers. Release my money now!

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience My experience with Wirex was extremely frustrating. I had an issue involving my funds and felt like I was getting nowhere trying to get a clear explanation or resolution. The situation became stressful very quickly, especially because I wasn’t sure when I would have access to my money again. I eventually spoke with RECOVERYSOL while trying to understand the situation. They gave me some suggestions about possible next steps, which at least helped me understand the situation a little better. I’m still disappointed with how Wirex handled everything. I expected much better communication and support when dealing with an issue involving my own funds. Thanks 🙏

Do not trust this clowns with any penny, even now with the new app WirexOne, they still keep your money.What they are doing is that they hold your money for days or weeks and they use it for gaining interest. To be more specific, I transferred from my WirexOne account to my bank account, in my name...but they decided to hold my money...when I asked them why...they said is a standard procedure...anyway...STAY AWAY!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!

Mi experiencia con Wirex está siendo lamentable. Tengo 5.000 € bloqueados y llevo ya dos semanas sin poder disponer de mi dinero. Lo peor no es solamente el bloqueo, sino la absoluta falta de información y de soluciones. Cada vez que contacto con soporte recibo prácticamente la misma respuesta: “estamos revisando tu caso”, “ten paciencia”, “no podemos decir cuánto tardará”. ¿Dos semanas revisando qué exactamente? Si necesitan documentación o información adicional, que la soliciten. Si existe algún problema con una operación concreta, que lo expliquen. Pero tener 5.000 € de un cliente retenidos durante semanas sin dar una explicación clara ni un plazo me parece completamente inaceptable. El servicio de atención al cliente es desesperante. Abres un ticket y parece que estás hablando con un sistema automático. Nadie se hace responsable, nadie te da una solución y nadie es capaz de decirte cuándo recuperarás el acceso a tu dinero. Y hablamos de una empresa que gestiona dinero de sus clientes. Después de esta experiencia, no volvería a confiar en Wirex para guardar ni un euro. Una plataforma puede tener muchas funciones, tarjetas, criptomonedas y promociones, pero si cuando tienes un problema no puedes acceder a tu dinero y nadie te atiende de verdad, para mí no sirve absolutamente de nada. 5.000 € bloqueados durante dos semanas y seguimos exactamente igual: sin solución, sin explicación y sin fecha.
