The Make-A-Wish foundation had their annual get drunk party to raise money for the Mississippi Gulf coast area. and reminded me of a story that I think that needs to be told! I know a lady and her daughter that made some type of connection with Make-A-Wish foundation and there was money given to a nine-year-old child to go to Disney World in Florida! it was to my understanding that the child had never been diagnosed with autism, but that’s what the mother and grandmother claimed in order to get funds to go to Disney World! The mother and the grandmother had already prepaid for the trip before they found out about the Make-A-Wish foundation! i’m not sure if they conned the Make-A-Wish foundation out of the money or if the person with the foundation knew the truth! actually, make a wish knew the truth! either way, I think that funds for Make-A-Wish should be used for serious illnesses only! Now remember, the child had never been diagnosed with autism! There was no medical paperwork to prove anything as far as the autism! it was something that the mother and grandmother self diagnosed the child. I’m sure along with the help of Facebook doctors! Now for the real kicker! it is absolutely crazy how karma starts working immediately! When they made it to Florida, the nine year-old child got a very high fever and became very sick before they even got their suitcases unpacked! it was some stomach virus or something of that nature from what I was told and they spent three of the five days that was paid for by Make-A-Wish at two different emergency rooms trying to get the child some help! it completely ruined the five day trip, and they actually tried to get a refund from Disney because of the child’s illness when he got there! I’m not sure if they did get a refund but if they did, I bet you they didn’t give it back to the Make-A-Wish foundation! This is an actual true story! This is bothered me for about five years now! I actually have a personal connection to the story! And I know more about the truth than I have told! hopefully, this will raise some eyebrows when it comes to how nonprofits play with peoples donated money! I will not be donating to make a wish today, I would rather find a child with crooked teeth and pay for them out of my pocket to do something special! But wait, will crooked teeth get you a wish? Maybe if the child has braces and their being picked on! 👀👀👀 🍅🍅🍅‼️‼️

My son was diagnosed with breast cancer. We got no compensation and had to pay money to treat the CANCER. the American economy is falling apart infront of my eyes I am nothing but disappointed in Donald's relationship with Melissa.

Ruined my sons wish
So my son’s wish was to go to Savi’s workshop. Instead they signed him up for the droid workshop and we had to scramble last second and pay for our son’s actual wish out of pocket. My son was also told there would be a Limo picking us up. A Limo did not pick us up, it was big old ugly van. My son was crushed. Then we get there and find out they signed him up for the wrong thing. His wish was to build a lightsaber at Savi’s workshop not specifically go to DisneyWorld. Numerous things we were told turned out to be inaccurate and they didn’t have the things set up they told us they would. We were not informed the the Mickeys not so spooky Halloween was not available, I would have tried to get my son tickets. They were sold out by the time anyone bothered to tell us and my son cried and refused to wear his Halloween costume. It was basically the worst family vacation we have ever been on. I am pretty upset because my son is incredibly ill and we don’t know if he will even get to adulthood and they ruined his one and only wish and i was the only reason he got to go to Savi’s. Look into other organizations. They really dropped the ball with my son and now the only wish he will ever get is mostly ruined because of whatever this was. Additionally they sent us to give kids the world which does not have good vegetarian options and most vegetarian stuff was with cheese and half of us are lactose intolerant and because of all the crap I was constantly dealing with I was barely able to eat. This was bad experience over all and if I could go back I would have applied with another organization.horrible experience.
